America is not the greatest country in the world, hard to swallow huh? A glass of water may come in handy here. In an HBO series, The Newsroom, the main character, Will McAvoy, confirmed what we have long suspected. Here is a reply from him after an obviously ill informed student asked him to explain why America was the greatest country.

「There is absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world.  We’re 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, No. 4 in labor force and No. 4 in exports. We lead the world in only three categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom are allies...」

My first reaction to watching the clip was 『this guy can’t be right』, but a little research proved that the guy was in fact very correct. America’s greatness is a creation of the media which by the way is controlled by America and its allies. So I see it as my responsibility as a truth loving citizens of this Earth to expose this LIE that many have lived with for so long.

Here are few rankings that go further to buttress my point in my bid to debunk the lie of America’s greatness.

• More people have been diagnosed with mental disorders in America than anywhere else on earth.

• The United States has the highest rate of illegal drug use on the entire globe.

• U.S. citizens spend more time in school than anyone else in the world.  So why are so many of them dumb as a rock?

• Nobody in the world gets more plastic surgery done than Americans do.
