We are writing with further advice for those of you trying to decide whether to stay in Sheffield or to go home over the coming weeks. We appreciate that you will be concerned, especially those of you with underlying medical conditions, and that you may feel that you just want to go home and be supported by your family. We are also aware that some of you in our international community are being asked by your sponsors to return home.

The University remains open, with all support services in place, but it has temporarily suspended face-to-face teaching. You will still be able to access on-campus support and resources beyond the on-line learning and teaching support we plan to provide. Meanwhile we anticipate that individual Postgraduate Research (PGR) supervision will continue - and information about this has been added to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) pages.
