Candidates for Public-spirited Star
1. 衛立國 （INTHAVONG VILAKORN）
衛立國，來自寮國，企業管理專業研究生。
2016-2017 年擔任上海市寮國留學生會負責人，2017年擔任上海大學留學生聯合會（ISU）主席並成為上海大學人才學院十一期學員。
作為留學生聯合會主席 ，他先後組織了一系列志願服務、公益慈善活動，組織參加了中外學生跨文化交流及中外學生高峰論壇等活動。他擅長舞蹈，是留學生舞蹈社的骨幹，在剛剛過去的第十五屆挑戰杯競賽開幕式演出中有精彩表演。
INTHAVONG VILAKORN: Laotian, a master candidate majoring in Corporate Management.
From 2016 to 2017, he was the team leader of Lao Student Association in Shanghai, the President of SHU-ISU and also a member of the 11th Shanghai University Talent Institute.
As the President of SHU-ISU, He has organized and participated in a range of activities, like volunteer services, charity activities, cross-cultural exchanges program between Chinese and Foreign students and Chinese-Foreign Students Summit Forum. As he is talented in dancing, he is appointed as a core member of ISU dance crew. He performed brilliantly during the opening ceremony of the 15th Challenge Cup Competition few days ago.
2. 科騰（ISLAM MOHAMMAD KAMRUL）
科騰，來自孟加拉國，企業管理碩士研究生。
上海大學留學生聯合會成員，2016年被國交學院評為「優秀留學生」。
2016-2017年四次擔任留學生迎新報到志願者、新年晚會志願者，組織參與2017年上海大學羽毛球比賽，作為創客代表參加漕河涇國際企業孵化器培訓班，2016-2017年作為留學生志願者協會成員，每周末承擔7號線上海大學站地鐵志願服務工作。
ISLAM MOHAMMAD KAMRUL：Bangladesh, a master candidate majoring in Corporate Management, a member of SHU-ISU.
In 2016, College of International Exchange awarded him as 「Outstanding International Student」.
From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a volunteer for 4 times to support freshmen registration work and happy New Year Eve Gala. He also participated in 2017 Shanghai University Badminton Competition. In addition，he attended the Caohejing IBI Training Course. Besides, as a member of the Foreign Student Volunteer Association, he served as a volunteer at Shanghai University Stop, Line 7 of Shanghai Metro every weekend from 2016 to 2017.
光亮，來自哥倫比亞，英語語言文學碩士研究生。
ISU舞蹈社團骨幹，長期從事公益活動，每周在V樓定期為留學生教授拉丁舞。
2016年10月探望七彩星自閉症兒童，2016年底參與為兒童慈善募捐，2017年5月在上海「新生命之家」孤兒院探望照顧兒童，同時也在哥倫比亞參與志願公益活動。
NATALY ZAMBRANO: Colombian, a master candidate majoring in English Linguistics，a core member of ISU dance crew.
She has been doing volunteer services for many years. She regularly teaches Latino dance to international students every week in front of Building-V.
In October 2016, she visited the Shanghai Qicaixing Autism Children Home. In December 2016, she participated in the collection activity for needy children. In May 2017, she went to the Shanghai Healing Home to look after children there. Apart from that, she is currently involved as a supporter in a social mission in Choco, Colombia.
慕容楓，來自塞內加爾，計算機科學與技術專業本科學生。2017年6月至今擔任上海大學ISU 副主席。
他積極參加各項活動，如上海高校留學生龍舟賽，上海大學運動會，「盛大遊戲杯」第十五屆上海大學程序設計聯賽等，還擔任了第十五屆「挑戰杯」競賽開幕式旗手。他很喜歡自己的專業，學習態度認真，興趣愛好廣泛，喜歡計算機編程。
NDIAYE MOUSSA：Senegalese，an undergraduate student majoring in ComputerScience and Technology, the Vice President of SHU-ISU from June 2017 till now.He has actively taken part in activities such as Shanghai Dragon Boat Race ofForeign Students, SHU Sports meeting and the Shanda Game Cup. Moreover, he washonored to be the flag bearer at the opening ceremony of the 15th Challenge-cupExtracurricular and Academic Contest. He is interested in his major very muchand attentive to academic study. He has broad interests including computerprogramming.

Candidates for Sports Star
1. 阮氏素鴛 （THI TO UYEN NGUYEN）
阮氏素鴛，來自越南，漢語言本科生。她擔任越南留學生會會長，ISU羽毛球社團負責人，漢語言專業14級本科班長。同時還是人才學院第11期學員、音樂學院舞蹈團成員。
她不僅學習成績優異，也積極參加各類體育文化活動，如：羽毛球比賽，廣播體操和國際文化節等。2016年獲上海大學留學生羽毛球賽混雙第一名和女單第二名。2017年5月，在上海大學大學生羽毛球比賽女雙項目中獲得第六名。
THI TO UYEN NGUYEN: Vietnamese，anundergraduate student majoring in Chinese Language, the team leader of ISU BadmintonTeam and the Chairman of Vietnamese international students, the monitor of herclass, a member of the 11th SHU Talent Institute，a member of dance group of School of Music ShanghaiUniversity. In December 2016, she took part in the Badminton Competition of SHUInternational Students and won the 1st prize of double pair and the 2nd prizeof women’s singles play. She also won the 6th prize in double pair match of SHUBadminton Competition held in May 2017.
2. 凌偉強（KHRONGYUT MR.ADISORN）
凌偉強，來自泰國 ，工商管理專業本科生，擔任上海大學排球社團教練。
他在2016年在天津全國業餘排球總結賽中獲（全國）第六名，2017年上海城市排球業餘聯賽（總決賽）中榮獲第五名，2017年上海城市排球業餘聯賽（第二站）中榮獲第三名，2017年全國大眾業餘排球精英聯盟賽（浙江賽區）中榮獲第二名。他喜歡體育運動，喜歡排球，也想幫助更多喜歡排球的同學。
KHRONGYUT MR.ADISORN: Vietnamese,a undergraduate student majoring in Business Administration，the coachof SHU Volleyball Association. He frequently takes part in volleyball games andhas won a lot of prizes. He was awarded the 6th prizewinner in the 2016National Amateur Volleyball Game, the 3rd in the 2017 Shanghai City AmateurVolleyball Game-Second Stop and the 2nd in Zhejiang Division, the 2017 NationalAmateur Elite Volleyball Game. He likes sports exercise and he lovesvolleyball. He would like to help more students who are interested in playingvolleyball.

Candidates for Arts Star
雅夏，來自烏克蘭，廣播電視藝術學碩士研究生。
ISU舞蹈社團負責人，多次參加校內外各項大型賽事節目表演或擔任主持人。
參與2016年菊文化節留學生專場演出，2017年留學生新春聯誼會擔任主持人和節目表演，在2017上海大學國際文化節開幕式上代表留學生發言，並表演舞蹈，在第15屆挑戰杯競賽決賽開閉幕式中表演舞蹈並演唱主題曲。
BREUS IAROSLAVA：Ukrainian, a master candidate majoring in Radio and Television Art Studies, the leader of ISU dance group.
She has participated in lots of events as a dancer，a singer, and sometimes the hostess of New Year Eve Gala.
In 2016, she took part in the performance show of Chrysanthemum Culture Festival. In 2017, she was the emcee of the 2017 International Students New Year Party. In the same year，she delivered a speech on behalf of international students at the opening ceremony of the 2017 SHU International Culture Festival and performed dances at both the opening and closing ceremony of the 15th Challenge Cup Competition.
迪娜，來自哈薩克斯坦，漢語言專業本科生，ISU公益與慈善社團成員。
她多次代表上海大學留學生參加校內外大型文藝活動。先後獲得上海大學留學生教學成果匯報演出二等獎，上海大學「國際文化風情展」優秀節目三等獎。在文學院舉辦的「第一屆古典詩詞吟誦大會」上獲優秀表演獎，在上海市留學生中國詩文誦讀大會決賽中獲個人組一等獎。
DINA: Kazak, anundergraduate student majoring in Chinese Language, a member of SHU VolunteerService & Public Charity Association. She is not only academicallyoutstanding, but also excellent in cultural performance. She has represented SHUInternational Students to join cultural activities held both in and out of ShanghaiUniversity. She has received the 2nd prize in the SHU International Students TeachingAchievement Performance and the 3rd prize in the SHU International Culture Festival.In the 1st Classical Poetry Recitation Competition held by College of Liberal Arts,SHU, she got the prize of Excellent Performance. Moreover, she received the 1stPrize of individual group in the Shanghai International Students Chinese PoetryCompetition.
3. 阿榮扎雅（ARIUNZAYA BUYANNEMEKH）
阿榮扎雅，來自蒙古，企業管理碩士研究生。
ISU籃球社團負責人，2016年被國交學院評為「優秀留學生」。
2016年至今多次參加校內外各項文藝及體育活動。 在2016留學生新年party、2017國際文化風情展、2017留學生畢業結業典禮和2017留學生迎新party等活動中，都有精彩表演。
ARIUNZAYA BUYANNEMEKH: Mongolian, a master candidate majoring in Corporate Management, the team leader of ISU Basketball Group.
In 2016, College of International Exchange awarded him as 「Outstanding International Student」.
He has actively participated in athletic events held both in and out of Shanghai University. What’s more, he has demonstrated his artistic talent in events such as the 2016 International Students New Year Party，the 2017 SHU International Culture Festival, the 2017 International Students Graduation Ceremony and the 2017 Welcome Party for Fresh International Students.

Candidates for Academic Star
1. 範玉英 (PHAM NGOC ANH)
範玉英，來自越南，漢語言專業本科生。
她學習成績名列前茅，平均績點3.68，大部分課程都在80分以上，有一門課還考了滿分。她在努力學習的同時，也積極參加學校組織的各類活動，先後參加國際文化節，廣播體操比賽，菊文化節等活動。
PHAM NGOC ANH：Vietnamese，an undergraduate student majoring in Chinese Language. She has made great achievements. GPA 3.68, the average score of her courses is above 80. One of her course has even gotten full mark. In her spare time，she is also very active in school activities. She has participated in the International Culture Festival, Radio gymnastic exercises and Chrysanthemum Culture Festival.
2. 邁克（TOSIN MICHAEL）
邁克，來自奈及利亞，食品科學專業碩士研究生。
每天在實驗室投入12個小時開展研究，平均成績87.91，至今已發表三篇論文，包括1篇SCI論文，並參編一部著作。
同時積極參加國際文化風情展、上海高校龍舟賽、張江杯桌球賽和上大足球賽等。
TOSIN MICHAEL: Nigerian, a master candidate majoring in Food Chemistry.
He runs a 12-hour daily lab routine on average. The average academic score is 87.91. He has published 3 papers, including 1 SCI research article. He also took part in a book compiling.
In addition, he proactively participated in an array of extracurricular activities like cultural festivals, dragon boat racing, table tennis and football competitions.
3. WAJID ALI
WAJID ALI，巴基斯坦，2014級材料科學與工程專業博士生。師從李重河教授，學習認真，平均成績達到88.25分，科研能力也非常突出，博士階段已發表5篇SCI文章，另外還有3篇SCI文章正在審稿中。
同時還申請了「添加CO和Y的TIFE儲氫合金及製備方法」等4個發明專利，平時積極參加學校和學院的學生活動。
WAJID ALI: Pakistan, a Ph.D. of School of Material Science and Engineering Shanghai University in the session 2014.
He has passed Ph.D courses with aggregate of 88.25. His research is focused on 「designing of novel material for high hydrogen energy storage performance」. During 2017, He has published 5 SCI research papers in high reputed journals.
Besides, he has also patented 4 inventions related to designing of high performance hydrogen energy storage material for submarines applications. Besides the research, he is actively participating in activities arranged by ISU, Shanghai University every year.
ISHTIAQ HUSSAIN，來自巴基斯坦，材料科學與工程專業博士生。
平均課程成績達到87分，同時在博士階段一共發表了6篇SCI文章並參加了一系列的國際和國內會議。
2017年7月20-24日，參加了中國材料研究學會舉辦的CMRS會議，由於高質量的科研工作得到了肯定，被授予「年度優秀學生」獎項。
ISHTIAQ HUSSAIN: Pakistan, a Ph.D. student at Shanghai University, School of Material Science and Engineering. His major is Material science.
He has successfully completed course work with 87 marks and published six research papers, as author and co-author in an international good impact factor Sci journals. He attended an international and national Seminars, workshops and conferences.
He attended CMRS-Conference 2017, conducted by Chinese Material Research Society at Yinchuan Hui city, China forum July 20-24, 2017. In this conference, he has been awarded Excellent Students of the year 2017 award on the basis of quality research work.

Candidates for the Best Student Society
1. 第十五屆挑戰杯留學生志願者團隊（The International Student Volunteer Team in the fifteenth Challenge Cup）
The International Student Volunteer Team in the fifteenth Challenge Cup: In the fifteenth Challenge Cup was held at Shanghai University, 17 foreign students joined the flag holder’s team at the opening ceremony. Another 10 international students joined the dance team. Lanja from Madagascar and Slava from Ukraine sang the song of "youth light". There are 16 foreign students working as volunteers during the Challenge Cup. The excellent performance of these students in the Challenge Cup has left a deep impression on people.
2. ISU舞蹈社團 （ISU Dancer Group）
在上海大學各種大型活動的現場，經常可以看到一群活躍的留學生，他們就是ISU舞蹈社團，作為留學生多種文體社團中的活躍分子，他們積極參加校內外多項活動，如第15屆挑戰杯開閉幕式表演、上海大學國際文化節、迎新晚會、菊文化節文藝、校友年會、新春聯誼會等，給大家帶來精彩節目。
You may see their faces in kinds of big events in SHU. Actually they are from ISU Dancer Group. As the activists among all the international students societies, they have proactively participated in activities to bring us their fantastic performance both in and out of SHU, such as the opening and closing ceremony of the 15th Challenge Cup Competition, the SHU International Culture Festival, the Welcome Party for Freshmen, the Chrysanthemum Culture Festival, the Alumni New Year Party and the New Year Get-together Party.
3. ISU志願服務與公益慈善社團（ISU Volunteer Service & Public Charity Association）
ISU志願服務與公益慈善社團目前分為志願服務和公益慈善兩個小組，先後參與了春季和秋季學期新生報到志願服務、運動會志願服務、自然博物館及地鐵志願服務等，並自主開展了關愛自閉症兒童、為孤兒院兒童送溫暖等公益慈善活動。志願服務與公益慈善社團，一個傳遞愛和溫暖的團隊。
ISU Volunteer Service & Public Charity Association(ISU-VSPCA)：For now the association contains two groups, namely Volunteer Service Group and Public Charity Group. Members of the association have devoted themselves to volunteer service in a variety of events. They once provided help with freshmen registration at the beginning of the Spring Semester and the Autumn Semester. They also appeared at sports meeting, museums and metro stations to help people in need. Moreover, the association has organized charity activities to express their love and care to autism children and orphans. ISU-VSPCA is a team that spreads love and warmness.
