馬玉江個展「夜未央」
夜闌人靜，但在城市的一些角落，苦難沒有平息，卑微的生命在壓逼與掙扎的隙縫裡衡度著自己與別人的質量。
生無涯，夜未央，藝術滲透，刺激我們思量。
《夜未央》(How Heavy is the Night) 是馬玉江繼《New Positions》(2016，科隆Art Cologne)、《蒼茫》(2015，香港Pearl Lam Galleries ) 及《與我有關》(2012，北京上苑藝術館) 後的第四次個展。藝術家在2016至2017年間，在灣仔通宵營業的麥當勞快餐店收集流連其中顧客的餐飲單據，並稱出單據重量。由於大部分都是最低消費，這些單據大多篇幅不多，單薄的紙張，背後有幾多唏噓的故事？
不同於藝術家上次個展以攝影圖像展示蒼茫，是次展覽更著重具體的時空關係，數以千計的單據置諸獨特設計的展場，召喚，同時穿越「麥難民」的時間經驗，期希帶給觀眾不同尋常的心靈激撞，反思自身的社會存在狀態。
馬玉江嘗言，關於「時間」，每個文明都有自己的答案，但他們只說了「時間是什麼」，沒說「什麼是時間」.人類之所以不了解時間，並非人類沒能力了解時間，而是人類自以為瞭解了時間，從而停止了對時間的追問。他表示，希望在展覽中營造出那一塵不染、一覽無餘，疏離、沉鬱，同時兼具無窮與孤獨的感覺。
展覽假香港灣仔軒尼詩道365號富德樓6樓舉行，展期從7月6日 (星期五) 至8月5日 (星期日)。

關於藝術家：
馬玉江於中國山東章丘出生，畢業於北京中央美術學院，現居香港。自幼成長的農耕經驗，使他偏好以自身行動作為媒介，在日常情境中從事當代藝術實踐。一方面使作品在長時間內自發生長，一方面探求時間、重力等本質問題。常常以「輕」的手法，改變世界形態，又通過「做生活」揭示日常詩意。現定期於《明報》「星期日生活」發表作品。
除了個展，作品還曾在OCAT上海館、北京當代唐人藝術中心、雪梨4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art 及北京今日美術館等展出。
About the Artist
Ma Yujiang was born in Zhangqiu, Shandong in China and graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing. He currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
His childhood experience in the village contributed to his action-oriented art practice in everyday situations. While allowing his works to 「grow」 over a long period of time, he explores time, gravity and other essential issues. He often changes the form of the world with the power of 「lightness」, and unearths daily poetics through his way of 「doing life」. He now presents some of his works regularly in Sunday Ming Pao.
Major solo exhibitions include New Positions, Art Cologne, Germany (2016); Cang Mang, Pearl Lam Galleries, Hong Kong SOHO (2015); and Related to Me, Shangyuan Art Museum, Beijing, China (2012). Selected group exhibitions in spaces such as OCAT Shanghai Museum, Shanghai, China (2017); Tang Contemporary Art, Beijing, China (2014); 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art, Sydney, Australia (2013); and Today Art Museum, Beijing, China (2011).
關於富德樓：
富德樓本來是灣仔區典型洋樓：樓高14層，一梯兩夥。2003年發展至今，藝鵠透過半資助方式，已把當中18個單位由商住兩用轉為藝術文化用途。以低於市值逾半的特惠租金供各藝術文化工作者及團體使用，至今受惠個人／團體已有五十個。本著低度管理，高度自治之原則，富德樓文化藝術社區訂立最少的限制，容許最大的可能性。大大小小的意念／創作／實驗／計劃／行動／組織在這些空間萌芽、成長、實踐、發揮，讓藝術文化能突破社會環境所限，遍植城市。富德樓6樓單位於2017年起為14樓藝鵠書店的延伸空間，如畫廊般運作，令藝術家的作品有更多展示及被收藏的機會。
About Foo Tak Building
Foo Tak Building looks traditional and ordinary. It is a typical commercial / residential building having 14 floors with two units on each floor. Since 2003, there have been 18 units leased to art and cultural entities at a sponsored rate through ACO (Art & Culture Outreach); the rental is much lower than the market price. Just as important, ACO exercises low degree of management to leave more room for self-discipline being exercised by the sponsored art and culture entities. ACO has stipulated only a few rules and allowed all kinds of ideas / creations / experiments / plans / actions / organizations to seed, grow, practice and perform here. The 6/F project space has become an extension of 14/F ACO Bookstore, it operates as if a gallery, providing alternative opportunity to showcase artists』 works and to promote art collecting to public.
