*Teaching Objectives:
Knowledge Objective:Let students master the rising and falling intonations. Emotional Objective:With right intonation, students can read and speak English confidently. Skill Objective:To improve students' communicative competence of English.*Key Points: Let students master the rising and falling intonations.
*Difficult Points: Students know which intonation should be chosen for different sentences.
(以上是答辯常問的問題,內容供參考。我自己的逐字稿上是沒有寫的,但每次自己模擬面試備課的時候心裡都有思考這一部分內容。)
*Lead-in: talkshow (這個自己寫。略)
*Presentation:So this is about the talkshow. Today, we are going to learn something about intonation. Now, look at the PPT/open your books and turn to Page30. Who can read the first sentence? Cathy, please. And how about you, Steven? Can you read it for us? (所讀見下圖)
Do you agree with Cathy or Steven? So, some students think Cathy is right, and some others agree with Steven. I think Cathy is very brave, and I am very proud of Cathy. And Steven did a good job by reading the sentence correctly. Ok, everyone, please pay attention to the intonation of special questions; the voice generally drops at the end, that is to say, we have to use a falling intonation for special questions. Clear? Good. Now, sentence No.2, who can try? Sophia, please. (所讀見下圖)
Well done, thank you, Sophia. So, for general questions, we need to use a rising intonation. Any question? No? OK. And the last sentence, any volunteer? Tom, please. (所讀見上圖) Fantastic, thank you, Tom. So we use rising intonation for tag question, and falling intonation for the former declarative sentence. Got it? Great.
*Practice:
Now listen to the audio carefully and pay attention to the native speaker's pronunciation.Read after the audio, and try your best to imitate the pronunciation.Let us read those sentences together. Ready? Go!3min for you to practise by yourselves.*Production: Times up. Any volunteer to read those sentences? Darcy, please. Wonderful! Any other volunteer?...
*Summary: So we just learned falling and rising intonations. You should practise more after class, OK? Good. Homework for today: find more examples of falling and rising intonations, and practise. Got it? Great! That's all for today. Thank you.
逐字稿至此結束。答辯除了逐字稿之前的教學目標、重難點,還有可能讓你舉例更多的降調或升調的例子。大家平時可以留心積累。
