So let's start with a preventive measure ....
Set WeChat transfer time from 「immediately」 to 「in 2 or 24 hours」
This will allow you to delay the money transfer time through WeChat Pay, and give you extra time to think twice about sending the money.

How to Get Your Money Back
WeChat has a mini program called: "騰訊舉報受理中心" to report fraud and money scams. Unfortunately, this mini program has no English interface. Don't worry, we made an English guideline.
Find the Mini Program
Type 」teng xun ju bao shou li zhong xin」(Pinyin for ) in the search box, and tap on the mini program 」騰訊舉報受理中心」.
Fill-in The Report
Try to provide as much information as possible about the fraudulent. Fill-in the relevant fields as shown in the chart below.
The below chart goes all the way down in major sub-menus required to fill-in the report.
Note 1: Currently, "Your Name" in field 8.1 can only be written in Mandarin and it doesn't accept English names.
Note 2: When filling-in the information, avoid leaving empty blanks especially in the "Your Name" or "Account ID" fields, otherwise you'll get an error when submitting the report.
Submit The Report
Next, all you need to do is to wait for the reply from Tencent. Tencent says the reply will be within 72 hours.
Tencent will send you a notification from its customer service account to your Wechat or You may check the reply inside the Mini Program as below:
