The Chinese Embassy inSweden issued a safety alert on Friday. According to the safety alert,recently, there are more cases where Chinese tourists have been victims oftheft and robbery, as well as cases where victims were treated poorly bySwedish police.
周五，中國駐瑞典大使館發布了安全警報。據警報稱，最近越來越多的中國遊客成為盜竊和搶劫的受害者，受害者還遭到瑞典警方的惡劣對待。
China’s Ministry ofForeign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Sweden said they are concerned aboutthe safety and legitimate rights of Chinese citizens visiting the country.
中國外交部和中國駐瑞典大使館表示，他們對中國公民赴瑞典旅遊的安全和合法權利表示關切。
According to one of thevictims, surnamed Zeng, he and his parents traveled to Stockholm, Sweden in theearly morning of Sept. 2. The room they had booked was not available forcheck-in until later in the daytime. Considering the health of his parents,Zeng asked the hotel staff if he could pay a fee, so that his parents couldrest on some chairs in the lobby.
其中一名受害者曾先生和他的父母於9月2日凌晨前往瑞典斯德哥爾摩。他們預定的房間要到白天晚些時候才能入住。考慮到父母的健康，曾先生向酒店工作人員詢問是否可以付費讓他的父母就在大堂的椅子上休息一下。
Zeng said the hotel staffreacted rudely and told them to leave or they would call the police.

According to Zeng, afterthe police arrived, he showed them his parents』 prescription medication andasked if they could stay at the hotel to rest and that he would leave. He saidthe police ignored his request and forcibly dragged his father out of the hoteland threw him to the ground.
據曾先生說，警察到達後，他給他們看了父母的處方藥，並問他們是否可以留在酒店休息，他本人會離開。而警方無視他的要求，強行把他父親從酒店裡拖了出來，然後摔倒在地。
Zeng said that hisfather, who suffers from cardiovascular disease, almost lost consciousness andstarted to twitch. The police offered no humanitarian assistance during theemergency, Zeng said.
曾先生說，他的父親患有心血管疾病，當時幾乎失去了意識開始抽搐。在緊急情況下，警方沒有提供任何人道主義援助。
According to Zeng, afterhe called for help, more people started to gather. They said it was wrong forthe police to poorly treat the elderly and urged the police to offer help toZeng’s father.

Zeng said that soon,more police officers with guns arrived in two cars. They started to dispersethe crowed and tried to snatch the cell phone from Zeng. Later, Zeng and hisfamily were taken away in a police car. While they were in the police car, thepolice also allegedly beat Zeng’s parents.
曾先生說，很快，更多的持槍警察乘坐兩輛汽車趕到了現場。他們開始驅散人群，並試圖搶走自己的手機。後來，曾先生和他的家人被一輛警車帶走。坐在警車裡時，警方還毆打了曾先生的父母。
After being loaded intothe police car, Zeng said the police officers asked if they were refugees andif they meant to use violence. Zeng said the police threatened to abandon themin the woods to stay with the animals.

After about an hour ofdriving, Zeng said the police stopped the car and ejected them from the vehicleat a graveyard in the middle of the night.

Zeng said thetemperature was lower than 10 degrees Celsius, so he and his parents huddledtogether for warmth in the dark as they heard the sounds of animals.Fortunately, someone who was passing by gave them a ride back to Stockholmafter they stayed in the graveyard for half an hour.

Zeng informed theChinese embassy of the incident, and reported it to the local police as wellafter getting back into Stockholm. Zeng said he and his family consider theordeal a "nightmare" and decided to leave the country immediately,citing his anger in what the police did to his elderly parents.
曾先生將此事告知中國大使館，並在返回斯德哥爾摩後向當地警方報告。曾先生說，他和他的家人認為這次經歷簡直是場「噩夢」，他們決定馬上離開瑞典，為警方對年邁父母的所作所為感到憤怒。
I could not imagine thishappening in any modern country, especially Sweden, the hometown of the NobelPrize, Zeng said. "It is so sarcastic that they talk about human rightsall the time."
曾慶紅說:「我無法想像在任何一個現代國家發生這樣的事情，尤其是諾貝爾獎的故鄉瑞典。他們還一直在談論人權，真是諷刺。」
Zeng now wants anexplanation, apology, and compensation from Sweden for his mistreatment.

Zeng said that theChinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Sweden haveattached great importance to the incident. However, Sweden has not given anyresponse on the matter.
曾先生說，中國外交部和中國駐瑞典大使館高度重視此事。然而，瑞典沒有對此作出任何回應。
In the announcement, theembassy urged Chinese citizens in Sweden to increase their safety awareness andstrengthen safety precautions. In the event of an emergency, evidence should bealso collected while ensuring safety. It also stated that Chinese citizens areurged to immediately call the police and contact the Chinese Embassy in Swedenfor help.
中國駐瑞典大使館在聲明中敦促中國公民提高安全意識，加強安全防範。發生緊急情況時，應在確保安全的同時收集證據。聲明強調，中國公民應立即報警並聯繫中國駐瑞典大使館尋求幫助。
