Recently, under the guidance of Ministry of Culture and Tourism, China G219 Tourism Promotion Alliance was jointly established in Nanning by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Tibet Autonomous Region and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
It is known that the 「Road of the Country」 -- the China National Highway 219 (G219) -- covers all border areas from Xinjiang to Guangxi, with a length of 10,065 km. The establishment of the alliance follows the tendency of the tourism development in China, enhances consensus, shares experiences, furthers cooperation, and promotes the sustainable development of tourism along the China National Highway 219. The founding means that a 「connected road」 has been built for tourism in the provinces and autonomous regions along the China National Highway 219, which will play a positive role in accelerating the promotion of integration of tourism resources among provinces and autonomous regions along the China National Highway 219. The alliance will join hands to create international selected G219 tourism brands, build world-class tourist routes, and achieve coordinated development of regional tourism.
