英語習語是英語學習中的一個難點，很多同學表示"老師，每個單詞我都認識，可是我就是不知道什麼意思。」
那麼，這有兩種可能，一是你對單詞的理解的深度不夠，有時一個單詞有十幾個意思，但你只知其中一個意思，不管在什麼語境下，你都拿你知道的那個意思去套用，自然是解釋不通了。
另外一種可能就是，這是個習語，但你對這個習語一無所知，自然就不會了。
今天我們講講幾個有關「happy」的習語，大家要多積累哦。

2. have a whale of a time
to enjoy yourself very much 玩得非常痛快；過得非常愉快
Example:
We had a whale of a time on holiday.假期裡我們玩得非常痛快。
3. make someone's day
to make someone feel very happy 使某人覺得非常開心
Example:
Seeing those little kids having so much fun just made my day.看到小孩子們玩得這麼開心，我高興極了。
4. walk on air
to feel extremely excited or happy 覺得非常激動或開心
Example:
After the delivery of her baby, she was walking on air. 生了孩子之後，她很開心。
5. tickled pink = tickled to death
very pleased 非常開心
Example:
I was tickled pink to be invited.我很高興被邀請。
6. in seventh heaven
extremely happy 開心極了
Example:
She was in seventh heaven when they praised her cooking. 他們稱讚她的廚藝，她開心極了。
7. be over the moon
to be very pleased 非常開心
Example:
She was over the moon about/with her new bike. 她愛極了她的自行車。
8. be on top of the world
extremely happy 開心極了
Example:
When I heard the news I was on top of the world. 我聽到這個消息時開心極了。
