1. 用both…and…連接兩個名詞做主語,謂語用複數。

如：

Both you and I aregoing to be busy.

你和我明天都會很忙。

2. 主語中含有with的短語時，要特別小心，找準中心詞，分清誰是主語。

如：

The car with two children in it was stopped by the police.

載有兩個孩子的汽車被警察攔下了。

car 是主語中心詞

聰明的同學，會舉一反三，凡含有介詞的名詞短語，都要小心！

3. either…or…或者 neither…nor…連接兩個名詞時,謂語採用就近原則。

如：

Either you or I am right.

要麼你對,要麼我對。

Neither you nor he isgoing to stay.

你和他都不願意留下。
