Recently, the Ministry of Education informs an announcementt hat schools shall strengthen the management of using phones at school. The details are as follows. With the rapid popularity of the phones, more and more students gettheir own phone at a young age. Although havingphones has many positive sides, such as easily connecting with parents, checking information more convenient and so on, using phones at school do harm the daily teaching routine. So the announcementclarify the way of how to use the phone.First, students must hand in their phone when they arrive at schooland they probably can’t bring the phone into the class. Besides, the Ministryalso avoids teachers using phones to teach and collect homework. Additionally, teachers must provide proper guidance to notice students why they can’t use phones at school. Carrying out rules with noexplanation is not allowed. What’s more, schools should inform parents to be asthe second teacher of supervising students of not using phones at school. The announcement caused a heated discussion among different groups of people. Would using phones make learning more convenient? Or will it just damage the normal teaching order? Let’s hear voices from all sides. (201words,Eva)Onthe one hand, 「No cellphones in the classroom」 is a considerate suggestion, because if not, the disadvantages are extensive and cover several aspects. For students, they are likely to use it to play games or do something that has nothing to do with the class. Due to the unfounded or incomplete self-discipline of students, abundant contents in cellphones can easily catch students』 eyes, making them addicted to it, which, without doubt, can lead to distraction, and thus have bad influences on their study. Also, if students bring cellphones to school, doing homework on smartphones is almost impossible to avoid. Being exposed to the blue light coming from the screen may cause physical damage, especially on students』 eyes. For teachers, it is obvious that their work should add one more item if students bring cellphones to school----managing the use of cellphones. In my point of view, it is a burden to teachers, as we know they are already toiling some enough. Additionally, as for parents, they might worry about whether their kid is studying attentively at school. To sum up, the advantages of 「no cellphones in the classroom」 are remarkable, not only for students, but also for teachers and parents. (199 words, Anna)Even though, on the other hand, using cellphones in the classroom has many advantages. The most important thing is safety. Cellphones are easy for students to take with and around, so it's convenient for students to connect with teachers, parents and even the police or the hospital when critical things happen unexpectedly. And also, cellphones are convenient for research and study knowledge. Nowadays,it's much easier to use the Internet and apps on cellphones which we can take everywhere. So if students have any questions they can't solve by themselves, using cellphones is much quicker and more convenient than searching it back home. More than that, many apps do a very good job  helping study, such as the translation software, electronic map and listening practice apps, which help students a lot. And teachers also can try some new ways of teaching that couldn't be realistic without cellphones.Today, with the development of society, cellphones become more convenient, powerful and also attractive, especially for young people. They have many advantages and disadvantages. Allowing cellphones in classroom or not is not a direct question to answer yes or no. Whatever the outcome is, we should remember that technology is working for people to have a better life not for trashing your life. (209 words, Leo)
