hello~想開這個專題既是因為我的專業影響，也是因為在外企工作時發現很多很簡單的內容在職場中反而用不出來。這時候即使拿著專八的證也挺心虛的，所以……
那天我同事要和老闆請假問我該怎麼說，我滿腦子都是ask for leave。可除了這些呢？讓我們一起來看一看吧
說到請假，大概首先想到的就是ask for leave，
比如：（1）I have to ask for leave tomorrow morning. 我明天上午得請假了。
如果請假不止一天，還可以說ask for 2 days' leave 請兩天的假。
（2）Can we ask for leave to see our roommate in the hospital? 我們能請個假去醫院看望舍友嗎？
不過考慮到請假的緣由不同，請假時可以使用不同的表達方式。具體如下：
1. 常用的英語表達
① May I ask for a couple of days'off? 我可以請幾天假嗎？
② I'd like to put in for two hours' leave. 我想申請兩個小時的假。
③ I'm afraid I will missthree days next month. 我恐怕下個月需要離開三天。
④ I'd like to take my leave fromthis Tuesday. 我想從本周二開始請假。
⑤ I was wondering if I could take this afternoon off. 不知道今天下午我可以請假嗎？
2. 請病假:表明原因
① My head is killingme. 我的頭痛死了。
② I'm feeling a bit under weather. 我感覺今天狀態有點兒不對。
③ He just called in sickthis morning. 他今天早上打來請病假了。
④ I think I may be coming down with a cold. 我沒準感冒了。
⑤ He pulled a sickie(這可不是正宗請假，不要誤用哦）to go to the concert.他裝病請假去看演唱會了。
⑥ I'm feeling nauseated. Guess it's a hangover from last night. 我感覺噁心，應該是宿醉未醒。

3. 請事假:籠統的並不想表達自己去幹啥了
① I got some personal businessthat I need to take care of. 我有一些私人事情需要處理一下。
② I have some family issuesthat I need to take a week off. 我的家裡出了點兒事兒，需要請假一周。
③ I want to take parental leave to look after my baby. 我想休育嬰假去照顧我的寶寶。
④ Could you give me leave of absence to join the competition? 我想請假去參加比賽，您可以給批准嗎?

4. 請人代班
① Could you coverfor me on Friday? 周五可以替我上班嗎？
② Can you finish it instead of me? 你能替我完成這件事嗎？
③ Can you take over my shifttomorrow? 你明天可以幫我代班嗎？
④ Would it be possible if Iswitched my Monday shift for your Friday shift? 我能拿我周一的班和你周五的班換一下嗎？
⑤ I will be away for a month on maternity leave and Tina will fill in for me until I get back. 我將請一個月的產假，在我回來之前Tina會負責代理我的職務。
