學校概況：這所學校的中文沉浸式項目開始於2009年， 目前已經發展得較為成熟，從一開始的小學階段k－5年級到去年已經升入初中階段6、7、8年級。教學模式也從k年級90%/10%的中英文課程比例，到中高年級的50%/50%中英文比例，到初中階段，學中文的學生每天有兩節中文課繼續提升中文聽說讀寫等能力。經過多年的課程研究及教師隊伍培養，目前該學校已經有較為成熟的中文課程和中文教師培養體系，希望招聘到優秀的有資質的老師加盟。

崗位職責：

·       Teach elementary content in Mandarin Chinese, integrating the teaching of content area vocabulary and teaching students to use the language correctly through the content.

·       Modify curriculum and materials designed for use in other contexts.

·       Handle discipline in a positive manner.

·       Work and plan cooperatively and collaboratively.

·       Move comfortably in a diverse community and with cultural competency.

·       Teach elementary subjects with a high degree of skill.

·       Evaluate a variety of curricular resources and make recommendations for adoption. Work in a flexible and cooperative manner.

·       Actively engage students in using technology in individual and collaborative learning activities.

·       Treat co-workers, supervisors, students, parents and others with dignity and respect at all times.

·      Serve as a positive role model for students and practicing the behaviors that are expected of our students. Maintain regular and punctual attendance and hours of operation to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position to achieve program requirements.

·      本科或同等學歷，教育教學類專業Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Education or Teaching.

·      持有或能夠獲得華盛頓州教師資格證Must hold or be eligible for Washington State teaching certificate.

·      對外語言教學能力達到ACTFL寫作和口語的高級水平Must have advanced level proficiency in American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) written and oral assessments.

·      中文聽說流利讀寫能力強Must have speaking and listening fluency and reading and writing literacy in Mandarin Chinese.

崗位職責：

Teach      Indiana Standards in Mandarin Chinese in a kindergarten classroom.

Provide      a nurturing and growth-minded climate conducive to learning Mandarin      Chinese and Indiana standards aligned to the subjects taught.

Create      and implement an effective, high-quality, rigorous program that builds      bi-literacy skills and multi-cultural appreciation via a variety of      instructional techniques.

Work      with a team of English speaking educators on planning, professional      development, curriculum design, and teaching responsibilities.

Communicate      with families regarding student progress, ideas and support for learning.

Assess      and monitor each student’s academic and language proficiency growth using      multiple measures, including formative and summative assessments.

Utilize      student data to inform classroom practice.

Assume      responsibility, with other members of staff, for specified duties such as      lunch duty and dismissal supervision.

學校概況：這是一所新成立的國際聯盟學校，計劃從2018-2019學年開始開班，招收PreK-4年級學生，所有班級均為中文沉浸式班級。該校的招生目標是之後一直開到初中八年級，且中文沉浸式課程不僅僅只是一門學科，而是學校必修課程的一部分。該校目前已經申請成為北卡地區的特許公立學校，由校董事會商定學校的辦學方針及教師招聘事宜。

* 在美國，公立特許學校通常有著非常大的自主辦學空間，在招聘老師上也有更為寬鬆的政策，比如公立特許學校允許招聘部分一開始沒有美國教師資格證的老師，通常公立特許學校都能夠資助老師的工作籤證，部分學校甚至能夠給優秀老師申辦綠卡來穩定教師隊伍。*
