除了用「etc.」, 「等等」用英語怎麼說

實際上,正式英文很少用etc.,etc.屬於非正式用法。正式文體中,「等等」一般有如下表述:
1. 「Such as」
The compliance work conducted by the private sector is criticallyimportant to stopping the flow of funds to weapons proliferators such as North Korea andIran, terrorist organizations like ISIS and Hezbollah, countering Russia’scontinued aggressive behaviour, targeting human rights violators and corruptactors, and disrupting drug tra#ckers such as the Sinaloa Cartel.
2. 「and other…」
posing an imminent threat of unprecedented humanitariancrises affecting the well-being and security of individuals and vulnerablepopulations, among them the people of Iran, Syria and Venezuela, and other territoriessubject to severe economic sanctions.
3. 「to name a few」
The authoritative structures of the internationalcommunity – the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization, the WorldTrade Organization, the European Union (EU), to name a few – who might otherwise offer acoordinated solution to these shared challenges, instead find themselves underattack from within by powerful Member States (with some states opting outentirely).
4. 「among other factors」
The fragmentation of international accord as aconsequence of the Cold War and, later, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, among other factors, hasprevented effective regulation by the international community of individualstates』 use of sanctions.
5. 「among others」
Though highly political, sanctions are a product of lawand amenable to the lawyer’s usual toolkit: interpretation, application,negotiation, investigation, defence, among others.
