Heavy fog and haze shroud North China as cold air hits...

According to the monitoring, in yesterday and this morning, the rainfall or snowfall of northeastern Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, eastern Jilin, parts of Xinjiang was 2-8mm. In some areas of northeastern Inner Mongolia and southwestern Heilongjiang, the snowfall was 10-18mm.

From November 14 to 15, the temperature of central-eastern Inner Mongolia, Northeast China, North China and the Yellow-Huaihe Basin will drop by 4-8℃ even 10℃ with scale 4-6 northerly gale.

The National Meteorological Center issued yellow warning of haze and orange warning of heavy fog at 6:00 a.m. on November 14.

From this daytime to night, moderate haze will hit central-southern Hebei, western Shandong, Henan, southwestern Shanxi, Guanzhong areas of Shaanxi, northern Anhui and northern Jiangsu. Some parts of southern Hebei, northern Henan and northern Anhui will get heavy haze. In this morning and forenoon, the heavy fog will shroud southern Tianjin, central-southern Hebei, central-eastern Henan, western and northern Shandong, northern Anhui and central-northern Jiangsu. Some parts of central-southern Hebei, eastern Henan, northwestern Shandong and northern Jiangsu and Anhui will see the severe heavy fog with visibility less than 200 meters even less than 50 meters.

Since this daytime, the heavy and fog will be disappeared because of cold air.

From November 14 to 17, light to moderate snow or sleet will hit northern Xinjiang. Some parts of Xinjiang will get heavy snow to snowstorm.

In the coming ten days, cold air will influence China frequently. Before November 20, the temperature of northern Xinjiang, northeastern Inner Mongolia and Northeast China will be 2-3℃ below than the normal years. Most parts of China will be 1-3℃ higher than the normal. (Nov.14)
