增城譽德萊國際學校第十七周教學總結
Hurray! We made it through the first Semester - and what a joyous Semester it's been - with so many exciting and varied classroom projects and extra-curricular activities occurring each and every week. We are all so proud of our hard working students who continue to excel in their studies. And to celebrate the festive season - students were treated to a day of bowling on Tuesday at the Tianhe Sports Centre in Guangzhou, followed by a meal.
太棒啦！我校的第一學期終於圓滿結束啦-這個學期真愉快啊-每周都有如此多豐富多彩的課堂項目和課外活動。真為我們所有刻苦學習的學生感到驕傲，希望他們在學習上繼續奮勇向前。為了慶祝即將到來的假期，學生們在周二的廣州天河體育中心參加了打保齡球活動，隨後享用了午餐。
We had a full house this Wednesday morning in the Theatre with Primary and Secondary students coming together to present their House music videos and compete against each other in a fun Kahoot online trivia quizz about teachers. The winning team was Earth 4 who won a large jar of candies. Congratulations!
這個星期三早晨，中小學生們在我校劇院裡匯聚一堂，分別展示了他們的House音樂視頻，並和他們的老師一起參與了有趣的Kahoot在線智力競答比賽。最終獲勝的團隊是「地屋」，他們贏得了一大罐糖果作為獎品。恭喜你們！
After the assembly some students participated in a Secret Santa present exchange - sharing some fun and silly gifts with each other.
大會結束後，一些學生參加了「神秘的聖誕老人」活動，彼此交換並分享了一些有趣又搞笑的禮物。
Recently, year 5 has been focusing on 2 of their ATL Skills: Social Skills and Communication skills. They practice them through baking together, celebrating someone’s birthday, celebrating Christmas. As a part of their unit, they also practice their communication skills by interviewing UISZ workers on their job roles.
最近，五年級的學生一直專注於他們的兩種ATL技能：社交技能和溝通技能。他們通過一起烘焙，慶祝對方的生日，慶祝聖誕節來練習這些技能。作為他們學習單元的一部分，他們還通過對學校工作人員的工作內容進行採訪來練習溝通技巧。

After an intensive summative week. Students are letting their hair down by applying different algorithms to rubik’s cubes. It is a great way of having some fun meanwhile problem solving, critical thinking, perseverance and logical thinking. In other words good brain workout!
經過密集的期末考試周后。學生們放鬆了緊張的神經，通過玩魔方來演練不同的數學算法。這是一種寓教於樂的好方法。可以幫助培養解決問題，批判性思維，毅力和邏輯思維等能力，同時也能玩的很開心。換句話說，就是給大腦做鍛鍊！

On Monday, the students of Fire House gathered to celebrate the successful end of semester. For every member, Fire House is like a big family. Every member is important. During this semester, Wind House students participated in various House activities and showed an enthusiastic attitude. This required some challenge and patience, but Wind House students successfully completed their activities and achieved outstanding results. I'm proud of the Wind House students as their Head of House. In particular, I would like to express my deep gratitude to Y12 Brad, and Rosie and Tony, the house captains, for their active support.
在本學期中，風之屋的學生參加了各種寄宿部活動，大家態度都很積極熱情。這些活動具有挑戰還要富有耐心，但風之屋的學生成功完成了他們的活動並取得了出色的成績。最為風之屋的負責老師，我為學生們感到驕傲。我尤其要感謝12年級的Brad同學和火之屋的小班長Rosie和Tony的大力支持。
Water House - Ms. Chunping

Thanks to everyone's concerted efforts and cooperation in the last few months, Water House received the most merit points this semester. A warm celebration was held at Monday lunch to remember the marvellous time. We had satisfying food and drinks; everyone had a lot of fun.
通過近幾個月大家的共同努力和合作，水之屋在本學期獲得了寄宿部比賽的冠軍。我們在周一午餐時舉行了熱烈的慶祝活動，用來紀念這美好的時刻。學生們享用著美味的食物和飲料，火之屋的每個人都玩得很開心。
Wind House students were busy editing their House music video on Monday for the Wednesday whole school assembly.
為了能在周三舉行的學校集會上使用，風屋的學生們在周一忙於編輯他們的House音樂視頻。
