Helpful, ok, help you do homework or lend you money all right; Yeah I also hear someone said a good friend should be like ourselves, sharing the same hobbies.Interesting, we all have our own best friends and they are very important to us.
But boys and girls, have you ever thought about this question? Do you think a good friend does always have to be a person? No, yeah, what is your idea? Oh, your best friend is a pet dog, it must be very lovely. Yes, you, books because you spend so much time with books.

A documentary film about Anne is going to be made. But the director has not been decided it. Anyone who knows best about Anne and her diary can be the director; Now I will give you several minutes to work in a group of 6 and choose the most suitable and capable director; Yeah, that is right; (whispering) Please work with your group members and say something. Great. Okay, time is up. Are you ready? Any volunteer who wants to come here and show your performance? Yes, you please. Let’s welcome Jane from the fourth group. Guys, listen to Jane quietly and carefully. Jane you can begin. (Several seconds later) Finished? Thank you very much. Guys, do you like Jane’s presentation? Yeah, I also like it very much. But I think if you can speak more loudly and more confidently, it would be much better. I think more practice will make you a competent director.Boys and girls, times flies so quickly. Today’s class is almost coming to an end. Let’s quickly go through what we have learnt today. Can anyone tell me what have you learnt today? Yes, Bob, you learn something about Anne and how she became best friends with her diary. Anyone else?
Good, Jennifer, you learn the importance of having good and trustworthy friends all the time especially when you are lonely. Good job, class. All of you have got something from learning this lesson.
Here what I want to add is that war is hideous. If there had been no war, Anne and her family wouldn’t have escaped, hidden or suffered in the dark place for such a long time. Thus, peace is precious. We should cherish peace and make every effort to maintain peace.
Step 7 Homework
Here is today’s homework for you. After class, please search online and find more information about Anne or the Second World War and write it down. You are supposed to share the information and your feelings with us next time.
