英語閱讀：《新概念英語》第三冊英譯英 L1 A Puma at large 4
我們「閱讀」下面的英語，我們在腦子裡出現的「音形義」都必須是英語的。
1.說「音」必須是英語的比較好理解：你「用」中文發音，甚至中文「諧音」去「讀」英語，這跟「英語閱讀」首先就相差了不止十萬八千裡。
可是，偏偏就有人把英語讀成「中文發音」的，這樣的「英語閱讀」正是「啞巴英語」的根源，都是自己一手造成的的。
2.說「形」也必須是英語的也好理解：英語「會讀」卻記不住「寫」，這就是所謂的「文盲英語」：不識字，不會寫。
3.講到「義」必須是英語的，很多人就會「有異議」了：中文意思都不懂，如何「懂」英語？
這裡「理由」聽上去無懈可擊，實則不堪一擊。「義」如果是中文的，那麼，前面的「音」對於多說人來講也必定是中文的。這二者其實是同一回事，或者說是硬幣的兩面而已：既然能堅持「音」是英語的，又如何有「義」是中文的之英語閱讀：《新概念英語》第三冊英譯英 L1 A Puma at large 4？
所以，「英語閱讀」的實質，就是「音形義」都必須是英語的。
一、你會怎樣「讀」下面的英語？「音形義」都是中文的嗎？

二、英語閱讀：音形義都是英語的
1) It immediately ran away when she saw it
1. If you do something immediately,you do it at once,you do it right away,you do it without delay.
把英語immediately的「義」讀成中文「立即」，「立刻」誰不會？「讀成」上面的英語就考驗人了。
2. So,it immediately ran away when she saw it means It ran away at once,or ran away right away when she saw it
3. When you run away,you escape from it.
2) experts confirmed that a puma will not attack a human being unless it is cornered.
1.If you're very good at doing something,you're an expert on it.
2. If you confirm something,you mean something,or some opinion is true
這句英語有點難度，但這不是我們由此「依賴」中文的理由。
3.Human beings are mankind,or man
見到英語human beings時，你應該「記起來」英語mankind,man才對，但是，你偏偏只「記得」中文「人類」，這都是無效英語閱讀，if any at all.
4.If you corner someone or something,you force them,or drive them into the corner of the walls,that means you give them no more chance or opportunity and they can do nothing but fight back against you.
這本來是很好的練習「用」英語，「說」英語的大好機會，可是，我們卻偏偏把它「練成」中文，結果，英語的使用能力沒有因為大量閱讀而絲毫改變。
