歡迎詞通常會由乘務長或是機長來廣播，廣播詞中包含了航班號碼、目的地、經停地點、飛行時間等航班信息。大家要注意聽，以免自己上錯航班。通常講完歡迎詞，就會一起播放安全示範錄像，空乘人員這時候會開始做安全檢查，也是該把手機關機、座椅調直、系好安全帶，準備起飛的時候了。

各位在搭機的時候是不是最期待起飛後的廣播呢？待飛機飛到平穩的高度後，機長就會將安全帶燈號關掉，空服員也會開始送餐。期待這個廣播有2個原因，第一個是安全帶燈號熄滅代表可以去廁所；第二是可以吃飯了。
