沃爾瑪宣布變更公司法定名稱

沃爾瑪日前宣布從2018年2月1日起將公司法定名稱由「沃爾瑪百貨公司 」變更為「沃爾瑪公司」。
Walmart recently announced plans to change the company’s legal name from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. to Walmart Inc. effective Feb. 1, 2018.
本次變更公司法定名稱，表明了沃爾瑪越來越重視為顧客提供無縫連接的零售服務，以滿足顧客多種購物方式，包括在門店、網上、行動裝置上購物，或是以門店取貨和接受送貨上門的方式購物。
The name change chiefly demonstrates the company’s growing emphasis on serving customers seamlessly however they want to shop: in stores, online, on their mobile device, or through pickup and delivery.
沃爾瑪總裁兼執行長董明倫表示，雖然沃爾瑪公司的法定名稱僅僅在特定的場合使用，但我們覺得我們的名字最好能夠與顧客隨時隨地用他們喜歡的購物方式來沃爾瑪購物的理念保持一致。
Doug McMillon, Walmart president and CEO, says, while our legal name gets used in a limited number of places, we felt it was best to have a name that was consistent with the idea that you can shop us however you like as a customer.

1969年10月31日沃爾瑪正式成立，公司最早的法定名稱是「沃爾瑪股份有限公司」。1970年1月9日更名為 「 沃爾瑪百貨公司」，並於同年上市，此名稱隨即沿用47年至今。
Walmart’s formal legal name when it incorporated on Oct. 31, 1969, was Wal-Mart, Inc. It was changed to Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., on Jan. 9, 1970 and has remained in place the past 47 years since Walmart went public that same year.

I really enjoyed Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS by Joby Warrick. I recommend it to anyone who wants a compelling history lesson on how ISIS managed to seize power in Iraq.

On the other end of the spectrum, I loved John Green’s new novel, Turtles All the Way Down, which tells the story of a young woman who tracks down a missing billionaire.

澳大利亞流行音樂組合Jess + Matt與新南威爾斯州旅遊局合作，通過索尼音樂娛樂公司在中國正式發行了其熱門單曲《Sydney to Me》的中文版本《我們的愛在雪梨》。
Australian pop sensations, Jess + Matt, have officially released their hit single Sydney to Me in Mandarin in China through Sony Music Entertainment in partnership with Destination NSW.
這首情歌單曲就像一封音樂邀請函，邀請中國的廣大遊客們前去澳大利亞的這座著名的海港城市旅遊觀光。
Their love song to Sydney provides Chinese travellers with a musical invitation to visit Australia’s famous Harbour City.
《Sydney to Me》（英文版）於2017年澳大利亞國慶日正式推出。這首歌曲收錄在Jess + Matt的專輯Belmont Street中，該專輯於今年2月份由澳大利亞索尼音樂公司發行，並一度在澳大利亞官方音樂排行榜上飆升至第20位。

據悉，截止2017年6月止，雪梨共接待了713,000多名中國遊客，使得中國成為新南威爾斯州的最大入境遊客源市場。
Sydney welcomed more than 713,000 Chinese visitors in the year ended June 2017, making China the number one visitor market to New South Wales (NSW).
