萬事通/什麼都知道
know-it-all means a person who behaves as if they know everything. 這就是我們中文裡常說的「萬事通」，即一個人似乎什麼都知道。
不過請注意啦，know-it-all常用於美式英語，而know-all常用於英式英語，並且「know-all」除了等同於know-it-all的含義以外，部分時候可能還帶上一些貶義，被翻譯為「自以為無所不知的人」。
比如：know-all politicians的翻譯為「自以為無所不知的政客」。

翻譯：你真的是什麼都知道，可不是嗎！

once and for all means "now and for the last time; finally", 意思為「一次性、徹底地或最後」。
牛津例句1：You must decide once and for all.
權威翻譯：你最後必須選擇。

權威翻譯：他徹底地離開了。

你不可能每次都贏
"you can't win them all" is said to express consolation or resignation after failure in a contest. 這句"you can't win them all"通常在一次比賽失利後，表達「安慰」或者「認命」。

這個其實挺好理解的，正如字面上的意義「什麼都有」，所以引申意義為「成功的」或「非常自信的」。

翻譯：他什麼都有——房子、妻子、孩子、好工作——他真是人生贏家！
例句2：I was very impressed by the candidate. She seemed to have it all together.
翻譯：我對這個候選者印象深刻，她看上去特別地自信。
