1 SCOPE

This standard specifies the test conditions and technical requirements of front-row frontal airbags designed to provide protection to out-of-position occupant.

This standard is applicable to the frontal airbag systems which can provide protection for out-of-position occupant.

3 TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

3.1

離位乘員 out of position occupant

處於非正常設計乘坐姿態的乘員。

3.2

A 點 pointA

沿著3歲兒童假人胸部前面的中線從最頂端向下114mm±3mm 處的點。

3.3

B點 pointB

沿著6歲兒童假人胸部前面的中線從最頂端向下139mm±3mm 處的點。

3.4

C點 pointC

前排外側乘員正面安全氣囊模塊幾何中心與該安全氣囊靜態完全展開幾何中心連線,該連線與儀錶板的交點。

平面A planeA

過兒童約束系統縱向中心線的垂直平面。

3.6

平面B planeB

對於單人座椅,是過右側前排外側座椅座墊的縱向中心線且平行於車輛縱向中心線的垂直平面;對於長條座椅,是過右側前排座椅且與轉向盤中心線到車輛縱向中心線具有相同距離的平行於車輛縱向中心線的垂直平面。
