At least in the States, the word 「blonde」 (「e」 on the end) is used for females, and the word 「blond」 is used for males. This is unusual because most English words are spelled the same no matter whether they refer to a male or female.

English has at least two other gendered words; when people are engaged to be married, the word 「fiancé」 refers to the male, and 「fiancée」 refers to the woman.
