Time for a quickie my friends. My New Year’s Resolution is to stay true to my original 「1 Minute English」 idea, which will hopefully allow you to learn something useful in only about one minute a day. So here we go!
今天要教大家一個快速又簡單的英語小知識。我的新年願望是堅持我做「1分鐘英語」的初衷，希望你能在一天中花1分鐘時間，學習一些有用的知識。話不多說，我們開始吧！
There lots of confusion about when to use 「in」 「on」 or 「at」, so let me give you a break down about when and where to use each one of these words:
許多同學對於關於什麼時候使用「in」、「on」或「at」都會感到困惑，所以今天我就要教你如何使用這些詞:
At
At is used for time, when we are giving someone the time of day. So you』ll use numbers with at. Also the words 「noon」 and 「night」 use at.
At 通常用來形容時間，當我們要告訴對方一天中的某個時間點，這時候你就要用「at」。「Noon」和「night」這兩個詞也要用「at」來形容。
The Venture brothers are predictable, they get in the same fight every day at 7:59.
《風險兄弟》的劇情是可以提前猜到的，他們每天都在7:59都會有同樣的打戲。
Steve usually goes to sleep at 10 at night, and wakes up at 10pm in the morning. Is he tired, or just lazy?
史蒂夫通常晚上10點睡覺，早上10點起床。他是真的累，還是只是懶?
On
On is used for the day and date. Day means the day of the week, like Monday or Saturday. Date means the exact day of the month, like the 1st or December 30th. We also use on when talking about a holiday, like Christmas or Easter, someone’s birthday, or when using 「weekend」.
On 是用來形容一天和某個日期。一天意味著一周中的某一天，比如星期一或星期六。日期指的是一個月中的的某個確切日期，比如1號或12月30號。我們也用在談論節日的時候也會用到「on」，比如聖誕節或復活節，某人的生日，或者當我們在談論「周末」的時候。
Princess Bubblegum said she』ll throw a huge party on her birthday. Will you go?
泡泡糖公主說她生日那天會舉辦一個盛大的生日宴會。你會去嗎?
Malloy only works on weekends. The other days of the week he tries to bite Steve.

Did you know Song Joong-ki (宋仲基) was born on September 19th? He was born on the same day as me!

In
In is used for only months (not dates), like February or May, years, like 2018 or 1982, and seasons, like winter or summer. Also the words 「morning」, 「afternoon」, and 「evening」 will use in the (note: must use 「the」).
In 只用來形容某個月，比如2月或5月，比如2018年或1982年，以及某個季節，比如冬季或夏季。另外，「早晨」、「下午」和「晚上」這些詞也會用「in」來形容，但是後面必須加上「the」。
The first thing Homer does in the morning is drink a bottle of beer. No wonder he’s so fat.
荷馬早上做的第一件事就是喝一瓶啤酒，難怪他那麼胖。
Peter will go to Thailand in April. I wonder if he』ll come back with a new girlfriend.
彼得將在四月份去泰國。我想知道他是不是會帶個新女友回來。
Although some say Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492, I believe Zheng He first discovered it in 1421.

That’s it! We’re done! Oh, one more useful tip though: On, in, and at, are not used with 「this, last / yesterday, next / tomorrow, or every.」 For example, 「Archer will propose to Lana on next Monday」 is wrong, you would just say 「propose to Lana next Monday.」 OK, now we’re really done!
今天的內容就是這些！喔等等，還有一個實用的提示: On, in 和 at, 都不要和「this, last / yesterday, next / tomorrow, 和 every」一起用！例如，「Archer will propose to Lana on next Monday」，這句話是錯的，你應該說「propose to Lana next Monday」。好啦，今天的內容真的就是這些了！
