沒有人知道耶穌什麼時候會回來，但作為基督徒，我們必須時刻準備好。本課將幫助孩子們學習為什麼以及如何為耶穌的再來做好準備。

你要使全班同學以為會有一位晚到的特殊來賓，但是上課快結束時，才知道原來來賓就是耶穌，祂一直在這裡。
6-12歲*字謎遊戲 | 如何為耶穌做好準備

「所以你們也要預備，因為在你們想不到的時辰，人子就來了。」 馬太福音24:44
向孩子們解釋，耶穌常稱自己為人子，而聖經中沒有其他人以這個來稱呼耶穌。
將班級分為兩組。每個組所面臨的挑戰是，要以更創新的方式說這句經文。老師帶領一個組，助教帶領另一組。兩組輪流說這句經文。示例：第1小組的負責人，讓他/她的孩子單腳跳著說這句經文。第2小組的負責人，讓孩子在說每個詞之後鼓掌。然後，第1小組在說這節經文時原地打轉。第2小組在原地打轉的同時，依此類推。確實不會有贏家，但孩子們會玩得很開心，他們在不知不覺中就能背誦這句經文了。
每個人都喜歡聖誕節吧？現在，讓我們假設你知道聖誕節快到了，但你不知道究竟是什麼時候！沒人知道是什麼時候。每年，這都是一個秘密，可能在任何一天。每個人都知道在那天，他們會收到禮物，也要送禮物，這都很有趣，還要唱歌吃美食，但到底是什麼時候呢？你將如何為這樣的一天做準備？與現在為聖誕節做準備相比，你會做些什麼不同的事？（允許討論）

那麼你該如何為耶穌再來做好準備呢？
首先，要儆醒。人開車時，他們必須注意力集中保持警覺，否則會發生事故。基督徒也一樣，我們還要留意耶穌的教導，留意那些跟從神旨意的機會。
然後，我們要知道耶穌總在我們身邊。無論我們是在學校，在教會，在購物中心，做作業時，做錯事時，不順服父母時，遇到麻煩時，感到害怕時。當我們知道耶穌總是在我們身旁時，我們做起事來會有些不一樣。我們會做討神喜悅的事。這樣，我們就預備好了。

"So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."
Matthew 24:44 NIVExplain to the children how Jesus often called Himself the Son of Man. No one else in the Bible called Jesus by that title.Divide the class into two teams. The challenge is for each team to outdo the other in saying the memory verse in a creative way. The teacher will lead one team, and a helper lead the other team. Teams alternate saying the verse and its reference. Example: The leader of team 1 will have his/her kids say the verse while hopping on one foot. The leader of team 2 will respond by having the kids say the verse while clapping after each word. Team 1 then says the verse while turning around in circles. Team 2 while doing the twist, and so on. There really is no winner, but the kids will have a lot of fun, and they will unknowingly memorize the verse.SCRIPTURE READING AND DISCUSSION (15 minutes)Everyone loves Christmas right? Well, let’s suppose you knew Christmas was coming, but you didn't know when! Nobody knew when. Each year, it was a secret, and it could be at any time. Everyone knew they would have a lot of fun giving and receiving gifts, singing and eating delicious food, but when would it be? How would you prepare for such a day? What would you do differently compared to how you prepare for Christmas now? (Allow for discussion)In our story today, Jesus is talking with His disciples about the day He would return from Heaven. The disciples asked when that would be, but Jesus could not tell them. As we read, see if you can tell why Jesus did not tell.
Discussion Questions:1 Who is the only person who knows the day and hour when Jesus will return? (God)
2. What were the people during the time of Noah doing, and why was it wrong? (They were eating, drinking and having a good time instead of paying attention to what was about to happen)
3. Besides Lord, what title did Jesus use to describe Himself in these verses? (Son of Man)
4. Why does Jesus compare His coming to that of a thief? (Because a thief comes when he is not expected)

First, pay attention and stay alert. When someone drives a car, they must pay attention and stay alert, or else they will have an accident. So as Christians, we must also pay attention to the teachings of Jesus, and stay alert for opportunities to follow the Will of God.
Then, we must know that Jesus is always with us, everywhere, all the time. Whether we are in school, attending church, at the mall, doing homework, doing something wrong, disobeying our parents, getting into trouble, when we are afraid, all the time. When we learn Jesus is always there right beside us, we will do things a little differently. We will do things that will be pleasing to God.
