Having a dog in Shanghai can be difficult. There are so few parks that are dog-friendly. And when you want to spend time with puppo on the weekend, there's only a handful of options—It’s brunch time and you have to leave doggo at home?! Say it isn’t so.
Well, here’s a big list of dog-friendly restaurants, bars, and cafes in Shanghai to help you out.
Make sure your pets are well-behaved!Please note that your furry friends have to be well behaved, especially if its a family-friendly venue. We don’t want them getting over excited and nipping a child. That would mean hell for the venues…and who knows what people who don’t like doggos will do. *Yes, I’m judging you.*
If you have a big dog, do call ahead and ask if its OK. Some places aren’t big enough or equipped to handle large pooches. So please be considerate!
To find the addresses, there are plenty of resources out there:
Dianping, SmartShanghai or BonApp.
