說完這個小插曲，西外君就來教教大家如何用英語點餐！相信很多小夥伴還不大會用英語點菜，也就習慣性的說「this, that…」這樣容易讓服務員無所適從，今天西外君就來分享幾個英語表達讓你吃遍海外！special
special['speʃ(ə)l] n. 特價special用在餐飲中可以表示
特價菜
(吃到的是什麼雖然不大好預測，但總歸是經濟實惠的）
例如：
what's today's special?
今天的特價菜是什麼？
Anything special？
有什麼特價菜嗎？
We do have a special on fried chicken today.
我們的炸雞今天有特價。
specialty
specialty ['speʃ(ə)ltɪ] n. 招牌菜在國外用餐，當然要吃當地最具特色的美食
specialty可以表示
特色菜，招牌菜，拿手菜
（招牌肯定是招牌，特色也肯定有，不過合不合口味就不知道了）
例句：
What's your specialty?
What is your house specialty？
你們這的招牌菜是什麼？
（House表示：餐廳，飯店）
點套餐
①Please give me this one.
請給我來這個。
②We want two number eights, please.
我們要兩份第八套餐。
隨意點餐
①May I have a menu, please？
我可以看菜單嗎？
會話記憶：
A：Could you tell me how this thing is cooked？
能否告訴我這道菜是怎麼做的？
B：Lobster？It is steamed and served with our special sauce.
龍蝦？蒸過後加上本店特製的調味料。
A：Is it good？
好吃嗎？
B：Sure. It is the most popular dish.
當然，很受歡迎的。
A：I think I will try some lobster, and give me some green salad together.
我想我來點兒吧。再給我一份蔬菜沙拉。
如果對當地的菜餚不熟悉，通常先詢問：
①What is the specialty of the restaurant？
②Do you have any special meals today？
③What would you recommend？I prefer something light.
我想來點清淡些的，你能推薦什麼嗎？
讓同來的人替你點菜，或者要重複的：
①I will leave it to you.
我讓你來點。
②I will have the same as that one.
我要一份和那個一樣的。
如果不急於點菜時，可以這麼說：
A：Can I take your order now？
你現在叫點什麼嗎？
B：Not quite. Could I have a few more minutes？
不，我可以再多等會嗎？
