Mindfulness means to be aware of the present moment, without judgment. Most children are already very present and mindful. But how can we make sure this lasts into adolescence and adulthood? The pressures of society and the education system create a very stressful and increasingly challenging environment for young minds. In the US, UK and Australia, mindfulness programs in schools are allowing young people to learn a life-long strategy to deal with negative thoughts and emotions as well as improving focus and concentration.
正念的意義在於不帶任何評價地專注於當下。大多數孩子其實已經非常專注現在和具有正念意識了,但是如何才能讓正念伴隨他們直到青春期甚至是長大成人呢後?源於外界社會和教育系統的壓力愈發嚴峻,年輕活潑的孩子們面臨著巨大的挑戰。在美國、英國、澳洲,校園中的正念學習幫助年輕的學生們獲得了非常寶貴的並且能夠跟隨他們一生的技巧,應對消極思維和情緒時更加輕鬆,同時專注力也得以提高。

The mindful kid's workshop at Sprout Lifestyle introduces children to mindfulness in a fun and active way. They will learn simple meditation and breathing techniques and take part in engaging and creative activities that reinforce the principles of mindfulness. The workshop will include making a take-home mandala, mindful food preparation and mindful eating exercises in the Sprout Lifestyle cooking class. Through an enjoyable and memorable session, they will take home the experience of how to meditate as well as knowing how to apply mindfulness in different areas of their lives.
此次在SproutLifestyle舉行的兒童正念工作坊,將用一種樂趣和互動感十足的方式引領孩子們走入冥想的世界。他們不僅會學習簡單的冥想和呼吸技巧,還能夠參與我們精心設計的互動體檢從而加強對於正念原則的理解和掌握。工作坊互動活動包含製作「冥想曼陀羅」(下課後可帶回家)、正念烹飪和正念飲食。通過這一系列令人難忘的互動體驗,孩子們可以將冥想體驗帶回家繼續運用,還能夠將正念的技巧應用在生活中的各個方面。

老師簡介
Luna is a mindfulness teacher with a background in primary education. After 5 years of primary school teaching, she now combines her passion for teaching and mindfulness by delivering mindfulness meditation classes as well as mindful lifestyle workshops to help people be more present in their every day lives.
Luna是一位有著小學從教經驗的冥想老師。最初的五年她在小學教書,而現在她將自己在教育和冥想方面的熱情巧妙結合,通過正念冥想課堂和正念生活方式工作坊等形式,幫助人們活在當下享受每一天的生活。

Parents are welcomed to rest in Happy Buddha next to the Sprout Lifestyle Cooking Classroom whilst your child takes part in the workshop. You are also encouraged to meet Luna, the mindfulness teacher who is very happy to share with you what mindfulness is all about and to learn about how you can develop mindful habits at home.
工作坊進行期間,家長們可以在同樣位於2樓的SproutLifestyle烹飪教室旁邊的美式素食餐廳Happy Buddha休息。當然,也歡迎你們在活動後與正念老師Luna面對面交流正念並學習如何將正念帶回家與家人分享。
