霧裡看花、纏纏綿綿的瓜吃起來，怎麼會有求錘得錘的乾脆爽快呢？
廣大吃瓜群眾最喜聞樂見的，就是實錘。
「實錘」，是網絡流行語，表示由於某些事情有了證據的作用，對某些事物的定性已經不能改變。比如指有文字、圖片、語音、視頻等證據，整件事都已經有結論了，一旦有證據了就可以發表出來。

「實錘」即確鑿的證據，在英語中，有許多詞可以與proof/ evidence搭配，表示確鑿的證據，如：hard, solid, irrefutable, conclusive, undeniable, incontrovertible, reliable, clear等。
① hard evidence表示真憑實據、鐵證
② solid有可靠的、可信賴的、堅實的意思，所以solid evidence表示可靠的證據。
③ irrefutable /ˌɪrɪˈfjuːtəbl/ 表示that cannot be proved wrong and that must therefore be accepted 無可辯駁的；不能否認的。
irrefutable evidence 無法推翻的證據
④ conclusive表示proving sth, and allowing no doubt or confusion 結論性的；不容置疑的；確鑿的
conclusive evidence/ proof/ results 確鑿的證據；不容置疑的結果
⑤ undeniable 表示true or certain; that cannot be denied 不可否認的；確鑿的

receipt是怎麼衍生出「錘」的意思並成為網絡熱梗的呢？
這一切就要從已故天后惠特尼·休斯頓（Whitney Houston）2002年的一場電視採訪說起。
當時，主持人提到有小報媒體指控休斯頓大量購買非法物品的事，一向slay的休斯頓女士這次也正常發揮了，她是這麼回懟的：
「I want to see the receipts.」（小票給我看看。）
或者放在今天，我們可以直接翻成「錘呢？」。
這場採訪過後，國外網友從這句「I want to see the receipts」引申出了一個表達「show me the receipts」。討論這場採訪時，津津樂道的國外網友會用到它；名人的八卦軼事難辨真假時，刨根問底的網友也會用到它；甚至在日常生活中，你需要表達「真的嗎？我不信」時，你也可以用它。
拜天后所賜，receipt作為「實錘」的用法就這麼火出圈了。

ironclad/ cast-iron proof/ evidence
「實錘或鐵證」並不能直譯為「iron evidence」。iron的意思是「熨鬥；鐵」，並沒有堅實的，可靠的，確鑿的意思。但是ironclad和cast-iron這兩個詞可以表示有力的、確實的、確定不移的，如：
ironclad guarantees of safe passage 安全通行的絕對保障
a cast-iron guarantee/ promise 永不反悔的保證；鐵誓
a cast-iron excuse/ alibi 有說服力的辯解；不在犯罪現場的確鑿證據
所以，「實錘」可以表達為：ironclad/ cast-iron proof/ evidence。
smoking gun直譯過來就是冒煙的槍，槍還在冒著煙，證明剛剛肯定有人開了槍，絕對「實錘」。這個詞常指犯罪證據，還可以指科學證據。
柯林斯詞典對somking gun的解釋是：A smoking gun is a piece of evidence that proves that something is true or that someone is responsible for a crime. 確鑿的證據; 確證證據
