1.ordinary
ordinary就是我們平常接觸使用的表達普通的，一般都是指與一般事物的性質標準相同,強調平常而無高明奇特之處。用於物，指每天發生，十分平淡無奇，用於人，指無特別之處，很一般。

2.common
這個也是比較常見的普通，指因為人或者物所共同具有的的或使用而使之常見的，但一般多指物，側重很常見，不稀奇。有時也可引申表示『一般的』，『平常的』，也是指普通，沒有特別之處，但有時也會含有低劣粗俗的意思。

3.general
general在語氣上比common強，側重牽涉人人或絕大多數地方大多如此，很少有例外的情況。

4.universal
universal與general同義，但語氣較強，側重對每個人或事物都適用，根本沒有例外。

5.commonplace

7.popular
