01big picture是啥？
General, overall, or long-term scheme of something, as opposed to the specific details or present preoccupations.
big picture強調的是一種大局觀，全局觀，前瞻性。
和它相對應的就是各種細節化的東西了，或者是過於關注於現在，略微短視。
如果說有大局觀的人可以說big picture thinker。
如果是過於關注細節的人可以說detail-oriented person。
看下對比：
Right now forget the details and take a look at the big picture.現在忘掉細節，我們看看大局。
所以呀，我們說要看大局，英語可以直接說：
See the big picture.
Look at the big picture.
兩個表達都是可以的。
有的時候一些經理人會無法放權，事事親為，這個時候老總就會說：
You need to focus on the big picture here, and stop getting bogged down in the day-to-day operations.你需要關注大局，不要再陷入日復一日的日常工作中了。
* get bogged down in sth. 表示陷入XX，bog表示泥塘沼澤，所以這個表達很好記憶吧。
02如何表達「短視」？
和全局觀相對應的除了details細節化的東西，也有隻看眼前利益短視的人，格局小的人。
英語中可以說shortsighted。
Shortsighted people can't make proper or careful judgments about the future.目光短淺的人無法對未來做出正確或謹慎的判斷。
當然你也可以簡單的說某個人：
She only cares about now. 她只在乎現在。
