新的學期，開啟新的希望，新的希望，承載新的夢想。2月18日上午， 初中全體師生歡聚鹽城楓葉國際學校初高中校區。
The new semester carries new dreams. On the morning of February 18th, all the teachers and students of Junior High school gathered together at Maple Leaf International School in Yancheng.
涼風瑟瑟，乍暖還寒。伴隨著振奮人心的進行曲，楓葉儀仗隊成員守護著兩國國旗以及楓葉校旗出現在師生面前，在激昂的國歌中將國旗揮向藍色的天空，國旗帶著師生對新學期的嚮往一同飄向藍天。
The cool wind brushed my face. With the exciting national anthem, Maple Leaf flag-bearers guarded the national flags of the two countries and Maple Leaf school flag appeared in front of teachers and students. With the passionate national anthem, the national flag flew to the blue sky with the yearning of teachers and students for the new semester.
升旗儀式後，由鹽城楓葉為初到楓葉大家庭的預科班同學們舉行了隆重的歡迎儀式，不僅僅是歡迎新的同學來到楓葉，也是將楓葉的文化在學期伊始就映入新同學的內心，希望新的同學在鹽城楓葉可以綻放自己的青春。
After the flag-raising ceremony, a grand welcome ceremony was held for the new students, which not only welcomed the new students, but also reflected the culture of Maple Leaf, we hope the new students can bloom their youth in Yancheng Maple Leaf.
最後，初中的聶凡翔和謝依宸同學在新學期代表初中全體同學發言，要以全新的精神面貌投入到學習生活中，立遠大的理想，樹立新的學習目標，端正學習態度，鞭策自己的學習，規範自己的行為，用《楓葉學生行為規範》來指導自己的言行，真正將楓葉的三好習慣融入自己的學習以及生活。
Finally, Nie Fanxiang and Xie Yichen gave us a speech as the representative of Junior High School in the new semester, they mentioned that we should establish lofty ideal, set up the new learning goals and positive learning attitude, regulate and guide our own behaviors and words with Maple Leaf students norms, try to be a real maple leafer as soon as possible.
「千裡之行，始於足下，」新學期新徵程，從點滴做起，把夢想真正付諸實際行動之中，共同譜寫鹽城楓葉國際學校新的篇章。
