boreout 是什麼？
這個字基本上是對應到 burnout（極度疲累），由 bore（使...感到無聊）衍伸而來，通常是用來描述「因為長時間工作極度無聊、或是太閒而造成的心理與生理的極度疲乏、憂鬱等症狀」。因為數位化的關係，許多工作越來越瑣碎，這種現象也越來越常見。來看個例子：

bored 怎麼用？
既然提到了 bore 這個字，bored 是它的過去分詞當形容詞用。這個字通常會搭配 with和 of 這兩個介詞，會寫成 be bored with / of something / someone「對某人或某事感到無聊」。
I am getting very bored with this movie.我覺得這部片越看越無聊。Ricky’s already gotten bored of his Baby Shark tablet. Could you get him something else?Ricky 已經對他的鯊魚寶寶平板失去興趣了。你可以給他找點新玩意嗎？I could sense that my audience was bored of me, so I cracked some jokes.我可以察覺我的觀眾對我感到厭煩了，所以我說了些笑話。
好無聊還可以怎麼說？
bored witless、bored stupid，字面上是無聊到都變笨了，來表示「無聊到爆、超級無聊」。也可以說 bored to death或 bored to tears，意思類似中文的「無聊死了、無聊到想哭」，也就是「感到非常無聊」的意思。
Having nothing to do on the night shift, the man was bored witless.晚班沒什麼事做，那名男子感到非常無聊。Clara must be bored to death stuck at home all day.Clara 待在家一整天一定無聊死了。
