How to Get Along with Others?

How to get along with① others? I think the key is unselfishness----I mean no matter what you do, when and where you are, you can not only think for yourself, but you also should take others into consideration②.

If you are a student, you need unselfishness when you get along with your classmates. For example, when somebody has failed in an exam, you should not laugh at③ her or him, you should think for her or him, for laughing may hurt her or his self-respect and destroy your friendship.

If you are a teacher, you need unselfishness, too. You should think for your students, don’t put too heavy burden on them, and don’t criticize them for their minor mistakes. If you don’t obey all these you should pick up the unselfishness as quickly as you can to maintain the balance between you and your students.

If you are a doctor, you should think for your patients.

If you are a member of a dormitory, you should think for other members.

If you are a manager, you should think for your clerks.

If you are ……

So in my opinion, if you get along with people with unselfishness, you will develop good friendship with them.

在文章開頭，作者就採用重複標題的方法直接點明主題，接著採用排比法If you are a student, If you are a teacher, If you are a doctor, If you are a member of a dormitory, If you are a manager, If you are ……從多個方面加以說明。而且，作者對第一點和第二點進行詳細的說明和解釋，讓讀者有一個充分的理解。由於篇幅已經達到要求，作者對其他幾個方面就只是作了簡單的列舉。

綜觀全文，作者善於運用簡單的詞句和排比的修辭手法說明一個人們似懂非懂的道理，是一篇很值得大家學習的範文。
