閱讀改變英語：No閱讀，無英語(retouch主題)
語言的學習，最好最理想的狀態就是能夠在「習得」的狀態下學習獲得(習得)，外語(英語)亦然。
「習得」又意味著你需要長期在某個學習主題環境中反覆接受這個學習點的語言體驗或者「刺激」。在長期不知不覺中，這個語言點變成了你的東西。如果你願意為「習得」語言(外語)付出這個耐心(用時間換空間)，「主題英語閱讀」可以幫助你解決這個「習得」問題：每個「主題英語」只解決一個「主題」問題，只學一個「主題」問題。其餘的一筆帶過，或者下次再專門為他它安排一個「主題」學習它。

讀到這一句by Her Retouched Photos，你需要做出的「語言反應」，是你用英語做以下「主題英語表達」(而不是把by Her Retouched Photos翻譯成中文來「理解」)：Okay.Got you.We will call this photo a retouched photo,or retouched if it has been edited,changed, improved, something removed from it,or added to it,or manipulated(這些英語只是一個「示範」，類似的英語，不一定千人讀這同一句，千人都說這同樣的英語).
你學英語不就是為了「用(英語)」的嗎？你能這麼用英語對by Her Retouched Photos做出「反應」，不就是在「用」英語了嗎？難道你以為「今天」看到by Her Retouched Photos，「用」中文「摳圖」知道它是什麼意思，「明天」在有機會把retouched跟別人「用」上，才叫「用英語」嗎？
不過，我們學英語的很多時候就是這麼理解「學英語用英語」的。那麼，如果「明天」你沒有或者根本沒有機會跟人「用」retouch這個英語(也就是我們一直抱怨的「沒有學習和使用英語的語言環境」)，這個「學」來的retouch不就「白學」了嗎？不就很快「忘掉」了嗎？
所以說，與其寄希望於「明天用」，不如「現在就用，今天就用」。這就是英語「學」「用」同步，「學以致用」。
總之，我是讀到by Her Retouched Photos之後就做上述「英語使用反應」(今天就用，現在就用)，而不是先把by Her Retouched Photos「翻譯」成中文「理解」(又學到一個英語新詞)，然後「寄希望」於「明天有機會再用它」的。
這個「展示/演示」可能就是學英語的兩個人在同樣的時間，做同樣的學習內容，採取不同的學習方法最後產生的「學習效果」迥異的根本原因之一：你隨時隨地在學/讀英語，有隨時隨地在同步使用英語。
而下面的這些「原版英語」，你又是怎樣把它「讀」下去，「讀」完的呢？繼續用翻譯成中文，把「英語閱讀」變相變成「中文閱讀」，還是「邊讀英語邊用英語」呢？
「沒有這個能力」，這是否恰恰說明你的英語學習最需要的就是掌握這個能力呢？所謂「提高英語能力」，其中指的就是提高這方面的「英語能力」(有別於泛泛而談的英語「聽說讀寫譯」能力)呢？

讀到 feel down on their bodies 時，你才剛剛通過「說」英語：that means let them down, or disappoint them「表示」已經「用英語」，「說」英語理解feel down on their bodies了(不具備見feel down on their body「想」到，「用」到let down,diasappoint的英語能力？)—，緊接著讀到 may be just as bothered by them，立馬又再次有「使用」英語的機會：Oh,I see.feel down on means be bothered by.
你看，根本不需要把feel down on「翻譯」成中文「理解」，直接「用」英語，「說」英語，就把它的意思「搞定」了：這不是英語「學」「用」同步嗎？

讀到untouched和photoshoped不是分別把這兩個英語「翻譯」成中文才算「讀懂，理解」，而是「用」英語：Oh, to retouch is to photoshop.
「What you see online or in the media isn’t always the complete truth,」 Thomas wrote on Instagram. 「In this instance I can’t even compare myself to myself. These photos were shot around the same time; one obviously retouched and the other not. When I look at the left image I’m like, 『Damn, can I please look like that?』 and its F—— ME!?!」
讀到isn’t always the complete truth，它是本主題(retouch)之外的英語，本可以「一筆帶過」以顯示「主次分明」，但真要我「理解」它，我也只會「用」英語「說」英語(isn’t always the complete true story)去「讀懂」它，而不會「用」/翻譯成中文(完全不是真的)「理解」它：你是哪一種？
If I can’t be that person on the left (which is absurd because it’s me) then I can only imagine the effect this has on women. I think my big arms, my cellulite, my back rolls, the dimples on my butt look fine in the natural shot. I can’t always have control of what other people do to my images but on my page I’m always going to keep it 100 with you.
