Everybody is good! You are all very young, and I came here today under a lot of pressure. It has been almost 11 years since I graduated from university. When I see you, I really feel that the waves behind the Yangtze River are pushing the waves ahead.
Last year, I took part in the school recruitment in Wuhan, and I feel that the quality of the new generation of young people is really very good. I was thinking yesterday about what I should share with you today. &34; he said. &34;
I would like to share with you my own work experience and experience after graduation. And I, as an interviewer, have interviewed maybe 2,000 younger people in the last 10 years. Some are in the same company as me, some are in other companies, and their development is very different. Algorithmically, we call these &34; and &34;. I would like to share with you why the development of positive and negative cases is so different?

Why many years after graduation
The original level of similar students have opened up the gap
What is &34;? &34; as we all know, means curious, eager and motivated. But why &34;?
I think young people have a lot of good qualities: they don&39;t have a lot of ego to maintain, they break the rules a lot, they&39;re uncompromising, they&34;Stay Young.&34;Stay Young&39;t know what I should or shouldn&39;ve done my work, I&39; problems if I can help solve them. At the time, I had seen most of the Code Base Code. When a new employee comes in, I explain everything to him whenever I have the time. By explaining, I can grow myself.
Another characteristic is that in the first two years of my career, I would come home at 12 o &39;s requirements. So I quickly went from being in charge of a module for extracting crawlers to being in charge of the whole back-end system, starting with a team, then a small department, then a big department.
2. I never set boundaries. At that time, I was in charge of technology, but when there were problems in the product, I would actively participate in the discussion and think about the solution of the product. A lot of people say it&39;s sales director. This experience taught me: what makes a good sale? When I put together the headline recruitment, these references made it possible for me to be familiar with the field.
These are my characteristics when I graduated.

Ten years of observation,
The best young people I&39;ve seen. To sum up, what are the characteristics of these outstanding young people?
First, I am curious and can actively learn new things, new knowledge and new skills.
I&39;ll take myself as a positive example, and then I&39;s say at the beginning of the headline, I said: we&39;s more than 100 million now, and we&39;t make it, just vertical search for travel). I don&39;m really excited about it. I really wasn&39;t know how to do it, but I just learned it and I just looked at all these things. I think it may not work out, or it may not work out, but it helps -- as long as you&39;re more likely to try.
Third, not content with mediocrity.
All of us here have been excellent students. But I want to say, in fact, after the society, should set a higher standard. I met many of my college classmates and colleagues, many of whom were very talented, with better skills and grades than Me. But 10 years on, a lot of people didn&39;t.
Many people don&39;s IT department: some after graduation, some after working for a while. Why do I associate this with &34;? Because many of them joined, in order to quickly solve the Beijing hukou, or at that time some agencies have housing subsidies, can buy affordable housing.
Later, I was thinking about a question, if I am not willing to mediocrity, I hope to do very well, in fact, I will not worry about these things: Do I have a Beijing hukou, can I buy an affordable house?
If one sets his goal here as soon as he graduates: to buy a small two-bedroom apartment or a small three-bedroom apartment within the fifth Ring Road of Beijing and spends all his energy on this, his job will be greatly affected. His behavior changes and he is not willing to take risks.
For example, if I meet my former friend, he may do some part-time jobs to earn some income. Those part-time jobs actually have no technical content, and have an impact on his job, not only affect his career development, but also affect his mental state. I asked him why, and he said, hey, come on, put up a down payment. It seems to me that he made a profit, but in fact he made a loss.
It&34;not mediocre,&39;t mean that you have to be highly paid or skilled. I mean that you have to hold yourself to a high standard. Maybe your first two years have been slow, but 10 years from now it will be very different.
Fourth, no tsundere, to be able to delay gratification.
Let me give you a counter example: Two young people who impressed me deeply are not only good in quality and skills, but also have their own characteristics. I was their supervisor at the time and found that they never delivered well at work. They think other colleagues are doing a worse job than they are, but they&39;re mistaken for the TOP 1%. So a lot of basic work, such as making a debugging tool, he is not willing to do, or needs to cooperate with colleagues, he does not cooperate well.
Originally, I was a very talented person with very good qualifications. I was very smart and had strong practical ability, but I did not control my tsundere emotions well. I don&34;Not content with mediocrity&34;not tsundere&39;s another example:
At that time, we have a colleague to do products, is also a fresh graduate to recruit, at that time we all think he is not particularly smart, let him do some of the more auxiliary work, statistical data ah do a user rebound ah and so on. But now he&39;t particularly good, but we always gave him feedback. After he went to the company, he took charge of a marginal channel with less than 100,000 subscribers and made it better and better. Since it was a fringe channel without a full team, he took on a lot of responsibilities and got a lot of exercise by himself.
Fifth, make sense of what's important.
Choose what major, choose what company, choose what career, choose what development path, oneself should have judgement, do not be controlled by short-term choice. The examples above cover this as well. For example, many people were willing to go to a foreign company rather than a new company. In 2006 and 2007, many younger students and younger students asked me about my career choice, and I suggested that they go to Baidu rather than IBM or Microsoft. In practice, however, many are motivated by short-term considerations: foreign companies can be famous and pay better.
Although this truth, we have heard many times. Just graduated with a salary difference of three to five thousand dollars, can really be negligible. Short-term pay differentials are not important. But in reality, there are not many people who can get rid of this and have judgment.
