動詞短語是由動詞和介詞、副詞、名詞等構成的，在句中作謂語。

369.be familiar with熟悉

用法：be familiar with是一個常見的短語，with是介詞，後面跟人或者物，其同義短語有be acquainted with。

 

例句：Some of his students are already familiar with Frantzen’s life story. (託福)

他的一些學生對弗蘭岑的傳記已經很熟悉了。

 

結構分析：Some of his students是主語， are already familiar with 是謂語（already是狀語），Frantzen’s life story是賓語（Frantzen’s和life是前置定語）。(託福)

 

370.be curious about對……感到好奇

用法：be curious about後面跟讓人好奇的人或者物。

 

例句：They are curious about specific features. (2015年12月六級)

371.be disappointed at對……失望

用法：be disappointed at後面跟人或者物，介詞at也可以替換為in或者with。

 

例句：The interviewer was disappointed at his ambiguous reply.

面試官對他模稜兩可的回答很失望。

 

372.be glad of為……而高興

用法：be glad of中的介詞of也可以替換為about，後面跟讓人高興的人或者事。

 

例句：The man was glad of what she had done and decided to go to the movies with her.

那人對她的所作所為很高興，決定陪她去看電影。

用法：be opposed to相當於動詞oppose，同義短語有object to，介詞to後面要跟計劃、建議或者行為。 

例句：Republicans and the insurance industry are strongly opposed to the creation of a public insurance plan.(2016年6月六級)
