3歲的英國男孩開開從英國小鎮路易斯搬到北京,與2歲的中國四川農村男孩梓豪相遇。此後的8年的裡,我們見證了他們一起玩耍、一起長大,並觀察幼童是如何認知膚色、國籍、階級、文化背景、性與性別的差異(46 分鐘,中英文字幕)。
When 3 year old Kai moved to Beijing from Lewes, UK, he met Zihao, a 2 yr old boy from rural Sichuan. Following the two boys over the next 8 years, we witness their shared games and growing up together, while asking how young children understand differences of skin color, nationality, class, culture, gender and sexuality. (46 minutes Chinese and English subtitles).
粉色空間性文化中心執行主任及導演,執導作品包括:《奇緣一生》42分鐘,講述4位女同性戀者與男同性戀者形式婚姻的故事;《寵兒》36分鐘,女性愛滋病毒感染者講述自己個人的欲望故事;《同志貓》3分鐘,兩隻公貓的性愛故事;《多性戀家庭》26分鐘,一個多種族、多國籍、多性別組成的家庭故事;《也愛你》16分鐘,記錄與智力障礙者一起探討性慾望的藝術項目;《如此生活》64分鐘,記錄兩個英國人放棄巨額遺產、放棄出生性別,尋找另類人生的故事;《玩伴》46分鐘,記錄一個四川農村男孩與一個英國男孩從2歲到10歲的成長過程,觀察他們是如何理解階級、種族、國籍、性與性別的差異。
Dr. Xiaopei is the Director of Pink Space Sexuality Research Centre China and a filmmaker. He directed the films Polyamorous Family (2010, 26 minutes): a poly family including black, white, Chinese & Indian, explores relationships, globalization and sexuality. Gay Cats (2010, 3 minutes): a two-male-cats' love story. The Lucky One (2011, 36 minutes): an HIV-positive Chinese woman with a few months of life reveals her hidden desires. Our Marriages - When Lesbians Marry Gay Men (2013, 42 minutes): life stories of four Chinese lesbians wed with gay men. Jolly Christmas (2014, 45 minutes): a well known American zoologist woman with terminal cancer spends her last Christmas with her family. Yvo and Chrissy (2017, 64 minutes): the life stories of two English persons who give away their wealth and phallus, respectively, in the search for meaning beyond social norms. Love You Too (2017, 16 minutes): which documents Pink Space’s art workshop exploring disability & sexuality. Playmates (2018, 46 minutes): Following two boys』 relationship through time, one from rural Sichuan and one from Lewes UK. For eight years we witness how young children perceive the differences of color, nationality, class, culture, gender and sexuality.

(Q-eye/酷兒眼) is a space to nurture dialogue around all-gender inclusive cinema. Running once a month at Q-Space, come to hear and share thoughts with the directors or other film aficionados regarding the filmmaking process or the themes which the movies shown derive from. This is space for discussion and mutual understanding using film as a starter point.
