How long haven’t you looked up to the starry night sky? Do you still remember the last time you looked up to the starry night sky?
小時候，夏天的夜晚，吃完晚飯，家門口的空地上，皓月星空下，大人們坐在小凳子上一邊喝茶一邊天南海北，我喜歡躺在地上的草蓆上，伴著耳邊傳來的蟋蟀聲聲，注視著深邃的蒼穹。星星不語，一閃一閃眨著眼睛，好像螢火蟲的燈籠，又像鑽石折射出的光。。。。。。
In my childhood, at summer nights, after supper, on the ground in front of my house, under the starry night sky, adults are chatting on the low stools while drinking tea. I preferred lying down on the straw mat on the ground, enjoying the sound of the crickets and staring into the starry starry night sky. The stars kept silent, blinking shining eyes, with the glittering light just like from the fireflies and the diamonds.
我想像著星星上面會有什麼呢？星星們是否也在看著我呢？我數著星星。數著，數著，就睡著了。夢裡，有一顆最明亮的星星墜入我的夢裡。這就是我的童年，夜晚的天空那麼美，那麼神秘，那麼多滿天的繁星，那麼多燦爛的夢。。。。。。。
I imagined what would be on the stars? Were the stars looking at me too? I counted the stars. Counting and counting, I fell asleep. In my dream, one of the brightest stars fell into my dream. This was my childhood. What a beautiful night sky! So mysterious with countless starry and starry stars, enlightening my brilliant dream.
如今生活在都市的我，夜晚只見滿天的霓虹燈閃耀，不見滿天繁星。如今沒有了童年時候的滿天繁星的陪伴，街市的燈火雖然通宵達旦，我的心裡只有一絲絲寂寞。朋友，你有多久沒有抬頭看看那滿天的繁星了？
Now I’m living in the hustling and bustling city, with neon lights flashing into the sky all night but with no starry stars in the night sky. Without my childhood companionship of starry night sky, despite the bright street lights through the night, nothing but a sense of loneliness lingers around me. My dear friends, how long haven’t you looked up to the starry night sky?
