奧斯卡主辦方美國電影藝術與科學學院官方宣布，今年新增819名會員，其中45%是女性，49%來自全球其他國家。其中中國紀錄片導演周浩（《大同》導演）、張釗維（《沖天》導演，CNEX聯合創始人）、李博（《時光機》剪輯師）也在名單之中，之後他們可就奧斯卡獎項行使投票權。

在此之前，華人紀錄片工作者已經有13人入選奧斯卡評審。截至目前，共有16名華人紀錄片工作者入選奧斯卡評審，分別是：

 周浩，中國內地紀錄片導演。周浩早年先後在新華社、《南方周末》等媒體擔任攝影記者。2002年，開始轉行做紀錄片 ，並執導了個人首部紀錄片《厚街》，他憑藉該片獲得「雲之南人類學影像展」黑陶獎（最佳新人獎）。2014年，執導紀錄片《棉花》，該片獲得第51屆臺灣電影金馬獎最佳紀錄片獎。2015年，執導紀錄片《大同》，該片獲得第52屆臺灣電影金馬獎最佳紀錄片獎。代表作：《高三》、《差館》、《龍哥》等。

 張釗維是CNEX聯合創始人暨製作總監，紀錄片《沖天》導演。曾任職於《破周報》、《南方電子報》、新加坡運行視覺公司、香港陽光衛視。同時為視襲影視內容顧問。目前擔任CNEX製作總監。2006年參與創辦CNEX，為兩岸三地第一個以扶持獨立紀錄片為宗旨的非營利組織，並拓展紀錄片的跨國合作與傳播。張釗維的執導作品有《沖天》《教改學堂》《反對者陳獨秀1879-1942》等，最新作品《本來面目》預計八月底在臺北首映。

 李博，剪輯師，主要作品：《時光機》、《塑 料 王國》、《錘子鐮刀都休息》。曾榮獲第54屆臺北金馬影展最佳剪輯獎。
