2鼠：老鼠，
3子鼠：陽氣開始動的時候，也就是23點 -1點的老鼠比較活躍
古人觀察自然認為，老鼠在子時23點～1點也就是陽氣開始的時候，老鼠活動的比較活躍，
子是地支的第一位，因為子有陰結束陽開始的意思。子時是古代一天的第一個時辰。為什麼說子時是古代第一個時辰呢？因為古人認為,子時是陰結束陽開始的時候，陽的開始是一天的開始，所以一天的開始是在子時。古人觀察自然發現子時老鼠最活躍，老鼠活躍的時間是一天的第一個時辰，子時排在第一位，老鼠排在第一位。這個只是從12時辰角度說，子時排在第一位。老鼠排在第一位。那麼12生肖的排序是不是參考12時辰呢？

天幹地支的時間非正式記載是在黃帝時代.大約公元前2000年

3zi rat: rat more active When the yang begins to move. Rat more activeat at 23:00 to 1:00
The ancients chinese observed nature and think about that rats were more active at 23:00 to 1:00,(yang begins to move when 23:00 to 1:00)
"zi（子）" is first of "di zhi （地支）"di zhi （地支） is ancient chinese calendars
「zi （子）」 o'clock is first hour in new day at ancients chinese。Why dose say zi o'clock is first hour in ancient one day?
Because the ancients chinese think about yin end and yang beginning when zi o'clock（zi o'clock is 23:00 to 1:00）。
yang is the beginning of new day。so the beginning of new day is the beginning of zi o'clock .
