Dear TEC friends,
在第二期的大家一起聊聊電影的活動中，我們一起討論了一部經典的電影《肖申克的救贖》。大家圍繞著這部電影以及裡面的故事傳奇，從自己的視角，以自己的理解，在一種輕鬆的氛圍下，暢聊電影中的點點滴滴。說實話，平時看電影，是不可能從這麼多維度去發現並了解電影中所有的信息，特別是細節；另外，不同的人對同一部電影的理解也各不相同，大家喜歡看電影，我感覺我們也會喜歡上聊電影，更何況還可以訓練英文口語。
本周三，從大夥的推薦中，我們挑選出了另外一部經典電影《遺願清單》，英文名為Bucket List，邀請大家來聊聊這部電影是如何成為i經典的。
《遺願清單》（The Bucket List）是由導演羅伯·雷恩拍攝的並於2007年上映的美國電影。電影講述兩個患了末期癌症的病人如何面對癌症為他們帶來的「死刑」，及他們在餘下的日子裡如何度過豐盛和歡樂的人生的故事。人生，就是由一個遺憾、再一個遺憾累加組合而成的，當你最終即將面對死亡的時候，就會發現這一生中，有太多值得嘗試的事情，卻被你無情地錯過了……1. I'll do what I can. 我會盡力的。2. You know, I could stay a while if you want me to. 如果你需要，我可以再多陪你一會。3. As something of a public health expert, I believe more people die from visitors than diseases. 作為一名公眾健康專家，我認為被探望者煩死的人遠比病死的多。5. Makes me feel like victory! 讓我感覺像個勝利者！6. I know the last time we saw each other. We weren't exactly hitting the sweetest notes. It certainly wasn't the way I wanted the trip to end. I suppose I'm responsible, and for that I'm sorry. But, in all honesty, if I had the chance, I'd do it again. Virginia said I left a stranger and came back a husband. I owe that to you. There's no way I can repay you for all you've done for me. so rather than try, I'm just going to ask you to do something else for me. Find the joy in your life. And you once said you're not everyone. Well, that's true. You're certainly not everyone. But everyone is everyone. My pastor always says: 「Our lives are streams flowing into the same river towards whatever heaven lies in the mist beyond the falls.」 Find the joy in your life, Edward. What I can tell you for sure is that, by any measure, Edward lived more in his last days on earth than most people manage to wring out of a lifetime. I know that when he died, his eyes were closed and his heart was open. 人生的意義是什麼，答案眾說紛紜。有人說要看他留下了什麼。有人認為要看他的信仰。有人說用愛來評價。還有人說人生根本沒有意義。我覺得可以從那些以你為鏡的人身上看到你自己人生的意義。而我所肯定的就是，無論你如何度量愛德華.寇爾在這世上活的最後日子 比大部分人窮取一生的日子還充實我知道當他去世時他的雙眼是閉上的而他的心靈卻是敞開的。42. Even now, I can't claim to understand the measure of a life.
