水浮印香，在宋代就有出現，宋代著作《洪氏香譜》中就有描述它：「然（燃）紙灰以印香篆，浮之水面，爇竟不沈（沉）。
Water float incense seal appeared in the Song Dynasty. In the Song Dynasty works 「Hong's spectrum of incense」it was described:「the plant ash is printed with incense seal,Floating on the water, it doesn't sink when it burns.
準備器具（香掃、香鏟、香勺、香模、線香、香粉、火機）
We need to prepare the utensil: plume duster、incense spoon、incense shovel、incense seal、fragrant powder、line incense、lighter (according to the different guests,choose suitable for the present of fragrant powder and incense seal)
-- 水浮印香製作 --
Water float incense seal operating steps
1.放入香模（選取一片葉子平鋪於紙上，將香篆放於葉子上面）
Put on incense seal.（Choose a leaf flat on the paper and put the incense seal on the leaf）
2.填香粉（將提前調好的香粉，使用香勺在圖案的凹槽處放入適量的香粉，再輕輕的用香鏟推平）
To fill the grooves with incense powder. and then with a incense shovel bulldozed.
3.起香模
Take up incense seal.
4.置於水面上。
Place the finished incense seal on the surface of the water.
5.切香（將線香點燃，把火點切入，引燃香粉）
The powder ignited.（ignition the line incense ，cut the fire point in，igniting incense powder）
6.品香
Enjoy the fragrance and watching the leaves float on the water.
