As you know, normal household detergents and cleaners are often chemical based. For the sake of our family’s health, we tend to rinse vegetables and dishes multiple times in an attempt to remove chemical residuals.

The most obvious damage is to our skin from dishwashing. Many commercial detergents』 ingredients are extracted from petroleum oil, added with other chemical additives such as fragrance, preservatives, adhesive agents and etc. What is more troubling is the fact they also contain surfactant and benzene, a class 1 carcinogen reported by the World Health Organization (WHO). These carcinogens have an incubation period of 7 to 15 years, and will stay on our dishes if not thoroughly rinsed. China has observed a drastic surge of cancer rate (up by 284 times) in recent years.
During an experiment, a random selection of 9 different brands of detergents were tested. 9 dishes were washed and then rinsed 12 times separately. The result showed an average of 0.03% chemical residuals on the dishes. Seemingly small and insignificant, these chemicals are depository and will accumulate over time inside our bodies.
Did you realize our population is experiencing more illnesses such as prostatitis, cataract and leukemia, which was not observed 40 years ago? Surfactants once entered a human body will disrupt the system’s metabolism. Their metabolized byproducts will also trigger biochemical reactions and result in damages particularly to the reproduction system (embryo-toxicity, teratogenicity, mutagenicity, carcinogenicity, sensitization, hemolytic, and etc.).
Detergents and cleaners that contain surfactants are especially harmful to pregnant women, because they cause damages to fetal development. For example, chemical substances such as alcohol, sulfuric acid, and linear alkyl benzene sulfonate (LAS) can be absorbed through our skin and mucous membranes. Long-term exposure to these may lead to pre-mature death of a fertilized ovum.
Sadly, we are helplessly dependent on chemical detergents and cleaners. Many scientists and NGOs have voiced their concerns, and have called for banning chemical detergents.

Selecting highly concentrated coconut oil imported from the Philippines. The medium-chain fatty acids found in coconut oil are anti-microbial. Medium-chain triglycerides inside a human body are transformed into monoglycerides and medium-chain fatty acids, which are strong anti-microbial agents. It can eliminate bacteria, fungus, virus and parasites.
The saturated fatty acids in coconut oil are also antioxidants, and when mixed in our cold process soaps, they become a natural cleaner and foaming agent. The foams are super fine and rich, and more importantly, they are skin-friendly and without chemical residuals.
Main Ingredient: Orange Essential Oil
