It sounds like you're asking someone out cause you're using "my place"。
Will you go out with me?
上面的故事只想說go out with sb實際上是約會的意思。 Do you want to go out with me?(你願意和我約會麼?)
Will you go out with me?,這六個詞也許是英語當中最難說出口的吧。
Joe: Will you go out with me?
Jane: Sure! Movies at 7?
Joe: Sounds great
Your heart shouldache forme.
Ache for: To feel a strong desire for someone or something. 渴望
eg: She ached for the companionship of her husband when he was deployed overseas.
You know, i mean, shewas intosomeone, anunrequited lovething.
Be into:informal To be romantically interested in someone.
eg:We had a couple really nice dates together, but I'm just not that into him.
Unrequited loveor one-sided love is love that is not openly reciprocated or understood as such by the beloved. The beloved may not be aware of the admirer's deep and strong romantic affection, or may consciously reject it.
eg. She fell in unrequited love with the professor.
Look,I know how hard and weird it is trying todatesomeone new when you're still notoversomeone.
Date:go out with (someone in whom one is romantically or sexually interested). 約會
eg. A few years ago, I dated the ex of a friend
Over:To accept, feel better about, move on from, or come to terms with something or some romantic relationship that has failed or turned out badly.
eg. John and Amy broke up nearly a month ago, but I don't think he's over her yet.
But I do think that we shouldcall it.
這裡類似於Call it a day 的用法,表示結束之意。
Who told you that I washung up onIris?
hung up on: in love with someone who does not love you 喜歡一個不喜歡自己的人
I don't think that she'sthe right one foryou
The right one:
如果是a right one,意思是A set phrase used to humorously indicate that one has encountered someone or something they consider stupid or foolish.
eg:You think the moon is bigger than the Earth? We've got a right one here!
I don't have those feeling for you anymore.
有感覺,可以說have feelings for sb 即to feel love or affection for (someone)。
eg . Even though they're divorced, it's obvious that they still have (tender) feelings for each other.
You shouldn't come and convince her that I was unavailable。
「Emotional unavailability」 describes a person who’s evasive, avoids meeting up, or simply doesn’t like to talk about their feelings or relationships。
I gave you an out。
give (someone) an out:To provide someone with an excuse or a means of escaping (from something).
Fifth wheel:n. A person who accompanies two (or more) couples in a social situation, who does not have a partner of his or her own. Often the fifth person's attendance is encouraged by one of the well-meaning but ignorant female partners, who may feel sorry for the lonely person, but will inevitably ignore them once the lovemaking starts. It carries the connotation that the fifth person is often an unnecessary and unwelcome addition to the scene in these conditions. Derived from "the fifth wheel of a car", which needing only four wheels to run, has no need of a fifth.
eg:Jim and Sue, Mike and Sally invited me to come camping with them, but I refused as I would only have been the fifth wheel on my own!
