說起couple和pair，可以說是非常有意思的一對單詞了。他們都很"2"，卻又"2"得各有特色。
pair強調：合二為一
要麼是指相同的兩樣東西，如：a pair of gloves/shoes/earrings, etc.
一副手套、一雙鞋、一對耳環等
a huge pair of eyes
一雙大眼睛
要麼是指連接的兩部分，如：a pair of trousers/pants/jeans, etc.
一條長褲、褲子、牛仔褲等

couple強調：兩個相似的個體（特別指夫妻）

pair和couple都是英語考試中的高頻詞。
在近3年全國和各地高考、CET4、CET6試卷中 couple出現過10多次，pair也出現過多次。例如：He has taught Spanish fora couple of years at a local school.
