之前在國內的時候，某某的英語學習網站經常會說鮮活的什麼什麼英語，指的是在當下西方人日常正在用的英語，非常貼近日常的生活，來到澳洲之後，應該說周圍都是鮮活的了，發現他們對某些場景的說法不僅正確，而且很地道，進而聯想到國內的一些對應的翻譯就很生硬，今日說說我每天上下班路上觀察的公交英語（包括火車和公共汽車）。
tap on（上車刷卡）
tap off （下車刷卡）
那下車請刷卡澳洲是怎麼說的呢？
「Remember to tap off to get the correct fare」
地道的英語說法是：
Please vacate this area for less mobile customers.
地道吧。
Warning： Do not force doors
這裡用force
當門開關的時候，別擋著門。
keep clear of moving doors
下面這個簡單而地道。也是關於courtesy seat的。
如果有人更需要這個座的話，請把座讓給他/她。
Please offer this seat if someone needs it more.
下面是一個關於緊急情況處理的，到底是跑還是留？
Emergency Procedure/緊急處理規程
In most emergency situations it is safer to remain on the train.
在大多數緊急情況下，待在車裡更安全。
Move to next carriage if danger present/如果有危險的話，去下一個車廂。
Use emergency help point to contact crew/用緊急求助點來聯繫工作人員
再來個類似的。

剎車，輪椅和嬰兒車必須面向公交後面
給輪椅預留的位置
Space reserved for customers in wheelchairs/為坐輪椅的乘客預留的位置
下面來一串溫馨提示

淨，垃圾扔在該扔的地方。
Dirty carriage？Call 131500 to report rubbish and graffiti./車廂髒了？請撥打131500來報告垃圾和亂寫亂畫。（graffiti如果不認識的話，去查查，記得更牢）
Courtesy. Please keep your feet off the seats./請別把腳放在座位上。這個off 讓我想起來了我們高中英語老師韋安寧老師解釋的形象，就是分開的意思。
Need help？Look for the emergency help point on the train/這個不用我翻譯了吧，每個車廂上都有help point。
Emergency？Call Triple Zero in an emergency/緊急情況？撥打000
Security cameras may be in use/監控攝像頭可能正在工作 （就是告訴你別亂來）
Patrols. Police regularly patrol this train/
警察會定期巡邏這個火車（還是別亂來）
再來一串提示，爽爽
On-the-spot fines up to $400 apply if you do the wrong thing on train and stations/如果你在火車上或者站臺上做壞事的話，抓到現行，最高罰款400澳幣（相當於2000人民幣，哪些壞事呢，就是下面這些小事）
Tap on and tap off. Remember to tap on and off with a valid opal card/記著上車下車刷有效的opal卡（我見過一個我前面的哥們兒被巡邏的檢查，刷卡異常，要求出示證件、最後解釋了一番，記錄警告一次，下次罰款）
No smoking. No smoking on public tranportation/公共運輸上禁止吸菸
No feet on seats. Keep feet off seats or risk a fine/別把腳放在座上，否則小心挨罰（我見過不少teenager把腳放在座上）
No alcohol. Dring alcohol not permitted./禁止飲酒
前面說過emergency help point，那我們就看看這個help point
Emergency help point 就是車廂裡的一個對講裝置。
1. push button once/按一次按鈕
2. Release to talk and listen/鬆開，一邊聽一邊說吧。
