Malaysia has a new prime minister. Less than a week after the unexpected resignation of Mahathir Mohamad plunge politics into turmoil. Muhyiddin Yassin was sworn in by Malaysia’s constitutional monarch. Though Mahathir who’s 94 described the appointment of Mr. Muhyiddin as illegal and betrayal.
馬來西亞擁有了一位新總統，Mahathir Mohamad在意外辭職不到一周後政局陷入動蕩，Muhyiddin Yassin被任命為新總統，94歲的Mahathir認為這是背板和不合法的。

Australia has recorded its first death from the COVID-19 virus. The 78 year old man had been in quarantines since been evacuated from Japan. He was one of the passengers in the Diamond Princess Cruiseship holding Yokohama. Thailand and United States have also registered their first fatalities.
澳洲報告首例新冠肺炎死亡病例，這名78歲的男子從日本撤離後處於隔離，他是鑽石公主號乘客的一員。泰國美國也報告了本國首例死亡病例。

Several hundred elite athletes have completed the Tokyo Marathon, the event was closed to general competitors because of the outbreak of the COVID-19.

石油組織也受到波及：
Ministers from the oil-exporting countries』 group – OPEC are meeting in Vienna latter to discuss whether to cut productionin response to the fall in oil prices caused by the coronavirus. OPEC members are reluctant to reduce output unless some producers outside the organizationdo the same.
OPEC組織首腦將要在維也納開會討論是否降低產能來應對由新冠病毒導致的油價下跌，opec成員並不願意降低產能除非成員國外的石油生產商也這麼做。

One of the Europe’s biggest regional airlines, the British carrier –Flybe- has collapsed threatening thousands ofjobs. Flybe was taken over by consortium including Virgin Atlantic last yearand was saved earlier this year but then got in trouble because bookings have slumped as the result of the coronavirus outbreak.
歐洲最大的地區航空公司之一英國航空公司Flybe破產，數千個職位遭受到威脅。Flybe去年被包括維珍大西洋在內的財團收購，今年早些時候轉危為安，但現在還是由於新冠病毒的爆發導致了訂票量急劇下降，最終陷入困境。
