在南非,部分地區市電供應嚴重短缺,電壓不穩,頻率變化還特別快。
在南非的普利托利亞地區的Flexible Packages Convertors (Pty) Ltd公司的三個大型車間就分別使用三路不同的市電來保障工廠的正常運行,同時要求備用機組在市電異常時能迅速啟機.該公司的負責人就找到了眾智在南非的代理商,Auto Comms & Control cc 公司為他們進行系統設計與建造。
系統使用了4臺HGM9510分別控制4臺500Kw斯堪尼亞電噴發電機組,同時三臺HGM9560通過MSC控制4臺HGM9510來控制發電母排與三路不同的市電併網。這就是典型的多路發電機組被多個HGM9560控制,為多路負載供電。
當市電異常時,HGM9560控制器通過MSC通訊線控制4臺HGM9510啟動發電機組並同步合閘,然後HGM9560控制母排斷路器合閘,當市電恢復時,HGM9560控制器發電母排反同步到市電上,然後軟轉移負載。然後控制HGM9510分閘並關閉發電機組。
當第1路市電異常時,第1路的HGM9560通過MSC控制4臺發電機組開機並同步均分負載,當1路的HGM9560檢測負載後,自動關閉多餘的發電機組。
此時,當第2路市電異常,第2路的HGM9560通過MSC控制靜止的發電機組開機並和正在運行的機組同步和負載均分,當第2路HGM9560檢測負載後,關閉多餘的發電機組。
此時當第3路市電也異常時,第3路的HGM9560通過MSC控制靜止的發電機組開機並和之前運行的機組同步和負載均分。
當三路市電異常時,三臺HGM9560控制通過MSC控制HGM9510來控制發電機組逐個開機並帶載,優先級高的HGM9560優先帶載。
任何一路市電恢復後,其對應的HGM9560控制母排和其市電反同步並將負載軟轉移到市電,然後斷開其路的母排斷路器。
當三路市電同時恢復時,三臺HGM9560自動根據優先級逐個控制市電帶載。
該系統順利的通過了客戶的的驗收與測試,並且得到了客戶的高度認可與評價。
Multi-channel Mains System in South Africa

In South Africa, serious shortage of electricity supply, mains voltage instability and fast frequency variation exits in some areas.
In Pretoria, South Africa, Flexible Packages Convertors (Pty) Ltd's three large workshops use three different mains to ensure plant normal operation. Meanwhile the standby units are required to quickly start when mains are abnormal. The company's head found SmartGen’s agent in South Africa -- Auto Comms & Control cc company and asked them for system design and construction.
The system uses four HGM9510 controllers for controlling four 500Kw ECU gensets of SCANIA, while three HGM9560 controllers control 4 HGM9510 via MSC to parallel genset busbars and three different mains. This is a typical multiple gensets controlled by multiple HGM9560 to feed multiple loads.

When mains is abnormal, HGM9560 controller control 4 HGM9510 via MSC communication line to start generators and synchronous close, then HGM9560 control busbar breaker closing. When mains is restored, HGM9560 controller anti-sync genset busbar to the mains, then ramp off load. Finally to control HGM9510 to open and close genset.
When the first channel of mains is abnormal, HGM9560 in first channel controls 4 genset to start and synchronous load sharing via MSC. After HGM9560 in first channel detects load, it shuts down redundant genset automatically.
At this time, when the 2nd channel of mains is abnormal, HGM9560 in 2nd channel controls resting genset to start, sync and share load via MSC. After HGM9560 in f2nd channel detects load, it shuts down redundant genset automatically.
Meanwhile, if the 3rd channel of mains is abnormal, HGM9560 in 2nd channel controls resting genset to start, sync and share load with previous genset via MSC.
When the 3rd mains is abnormal, HGM9560 in 3rd channel controls HGM9510 via MSC to start genset one by one and on load, HGM9560 with high priority loads firstly.
Any channel of mains is restored, the corresponding HGM9560 control busbar and their mains anti-sync and ramp off load the mains, then disconnect its busbar breaker .
When the three mains are restored, three HGM9560 control mains on load automatically one by one according to the priority.
The system successfully passed customers』 acceptance and testing, and received affirmation and evaluation.
