今天是約翰·列儂的生日，如果他還活著，已經75歲了。今天，他的遺孀小野洋子為了慶祝列儂的75歲生日，在紐約中央公園組織了超過2000人來組成一個巨大的「和平標誌」 。
草莓園（Strawberry Fields）
約翰藍儂遺孀 -- 小野洋子為了紀念其夫於 1980 年遇刺，在住處（也是藍儂遇害的地點）達科塔大廈前，出資修繕這個淚滴狀區域，並稱之為「草莓園」 (Strawberry Fields) ，因為藍儂在 1967 年寫了一首名曲 -- 「永遠的草莓園」(Strawberry Field Forever) 。從達科塔可以俯瞰這個地點，這個花園中有來自世界各國的捐贈，故稱為「國際和平公園」 (International garden of peace) ，園內有步道、灌木叢、森林、花床等，其中，步道上有一個星形、黑白相間的馬賽克圖形，這也是約翰藍儂的一首歌「 Imagine 」歌詞中所提到的，每年 12 月 8 日（藍儂遇害日），全世界的披頭四歌迷會聚集在此一同紀念他，並遙望達科塔舊居，平時也有歌迷會在馬賽克圖形上點一根蠟燭、放一束鮮花來憑弔他。
